I was coaxed into finally going into the bakery when I realized I forgot to order anything for Thanksgiving dinner. Wish I dropped my fears of Flour and had gone earlier! Ordered the chocolate torte with orange slices and the pumpkin pie to take to the in-laws. Forget the traditional item! You will not be disappointed by the rich flavor of their chocolate and especially how light and airy it is. It was a tradition keeper. They have wonderful sandwiches, pastries and rolls. Perfect for adding to a dinner for two or more!

Stopped by for breakfast during a short trip to Boston because the bakery, and its famous sticky buns, had been featured on Food Network. My wife and I really enjoyed our egg breakfast sandwich and croissant. The sticky bun was great, as advertised. Staff was friendly and the bakery had a cool vibe. If i lived in the area, this would definitely be a go-to spot.

Fantastic spot to meet friends, grab a quick healthy bite or grab a few pastries to take home. I love this particular location since it's off the beaten path, has a wonderful open space. Everything is delicious. I love that they have a housemade soda each day and the breakfast sandwich is delicious!

Everything we had was delicious! I had the applewood-smoked bacon sammich which comes with: arugula, tomato, mayo, balsamic vinaigrette. I asked to add mozzarella, which was a great addition. Everything tasted fresh and very flavorful. My boyfriend opted for the smoked salmon sammich, which was also fantastic (and I'm not usually one for smoked salmon or eat it very seldom). The fish wasn't over powering, the saltiness balanced well with the cream cheese and fresh baked bread. We also ordered one of the basic salads and of course a sticky bun for desert! The salad was meh, mediocre and over salted in my opinion. The greens also looked a bit sad. However, the sticky bun, which is what they're well known for, was so worth those calories. First of all, delicious sticky caramel all over and as a nice surprise, some on the inside too. Secondly, the caramel pecans were a perfect crunch for the soft, moist dough. Ugh I'm starving just writing this review! Oh musn't forget, we also ordered lattes/coffee, which were definitely better than your basic Starbucks, but Thinking Cups definitely a winner in that department. Overall great experience! However, it gets pretty busy/crowded and isn't very organized with the ordering system. But its got cute decor and you can see right into the kitchen which I always love in a bakery. Kind of a way of letting you know everything is always fresh out of the oven! This location also had a nice little patio area, which is always a plus for me. Especially with so many people dining out with their pooch:)

best local bakery -- it is my go-to morning coffee place and if I want to splurge on something sweet. Delicious salads for lunch too. Highly recommend for locals and visitors alike.

Delicious carrot cake! I was so happy my roommates surprised me with one for my birthday. YUMMMMM. The store will probably have a long lunch line, and it will take a while when it's crowded, but at least your sandwich will arrive freshly made! It's cute and nice to sit if you happen to come when it's not too packed. Plenty of vegetarian options. I had the roasted sweet potato sandwich, which I loved, but sweet potatoes are my favorite so it was a sure choice. Also, super yummy Boston cream pie that had a hint of a coffee taste when I tried it.

Flower offers a wide variety of amazing sandwiches and pastries. I am bummed that they removed their famous Curried Tuna Sandwich from their menu, I really wish they would bring it back. They replaced it with pretty much the same style tuna you can get anywhere else in the city. They would be 5 stars again for me if they brought this item back. Also another small criticism about the space itself is that besides the long lines the ventilation in here is pretty bad. If you come during lunch and are inside for more than a couple minutes you will definitely smell like you went here, they have outdoor seating and if you call ahead you avoid the long lunch lines here and walk to the front of the line for pickup.

Excellent lunch place although it gets REALLY packed so go either before or after prime eating time. The sandwiches and bakes goods are fantastic. They are especially known for their sticky buns so don't miss out.
