Grade school sure does feel like a long time ago. If you have a child struggling a bit more than you thought possible, this may be why. It just keeps getting even more tough!

This was not a 3-4 star hotel. I would rate it a 2 star hotel at best. The rooms/suite was very spacious. But, it was not very modern. The shower's water pressure was terrible. The stovetop was gas. It even leaked. The maintenance did not seem very concerned about this. However, I was expecting far more. Reviews for this hotel had stated the superior staff. I certainly did not encounter that. The managers that I encountered were rude and unprofessional. The rate was fair. But, there are many other hotels near this hotel that can deliver a far superior service and quality.

Saktah was the best, gave me a great view and the floor preference. The whole staff was polite too and everybody was happy too.

I would like to thank the entire staff at the Virginian Suites in Arlington for making our stay most pleasant. The welcome began even before I had reservations. As we were traveling with 4 dogs (two pugs, an English cocker, and a yellow lab) we had to make sure we were welcome in advance. Michael Gray was extremely helpful and friendly in this. He reassured me that the dogs were indeed welcome. He even was able to accommodate my request for a room on the bottom floor even though pets were usually placed on other floors. He offered me the choice of taking a room that is not usually used as it has not yet been renovated. Michael assured me that it was indeed quite clean and all appliances worked. And it WAS clean and everything DID work and it was more secluded so I would not have to worry if the dogs would bark. He also mentioned that the dogs did not have to be supervised constantly which was a blessing as we were in town for a wedding. All the staff that we encountered were friendly and professional As we checked out, the girls at the front desk even asked if we would bring the dogs in so they might see them. Indeed they were true dog lovers. I especially want to thank Michael Gray for helping set the stage for a wonderful weekend.

Everything is great. Good and big room. Good complementary cofee. The shuttle to metro is smooth. Recommend this hotel 100 percent
