A couple of months ago I auditioned for Listen to Your Mother - Charleston. I had so many stories about being a mother and being a daughter of a really great mother, that I didn't know what story to tell. This is one essay I wrote that I decided not to use. Stay tuned over the next couple of weeks for the runner up and the one I will be reading next Sunday in Charleston.
