I usually go to this pharmacy because h pharmacists are so helpful -- probably because they have to compete so much with the big box stores. However, less than five minutes ago I asked for friendly advice from the older male Pharmacist who was working Sunday morning, and he was worse than a Google search. Clearly had no interest in helping me and appeared to be annoyed at my question; even suggested I was there to get prescription pills.

I've tried using this pharmacy several times because their location is within walking distance of where I live. Not once has it gone smoothly. I have been massively overcharged for my medications. I have had them call me on the phone to tell me my prescription was ready, and then arrived and found out that it was not ready. I have had them fill the wrong prescription, even though I told them which medications I wanted face-to-face, in the store. The pharmacist was completely unfamiliar with my medications, even though they are common medications for a common disease. I really wanted to support a local business, but I have been stunned by the consistently poor quality of their service. I don't expect much from a pharmacy--just to fill my prescriptions and bill my insurance--but this pharmacy is incapable of performing even this basic function. Wow, I say. I'm going to Safeway from now on.

I will give a 0 star if i could. Do not trust the store services. Registered for membership early this year and made purchases but the rewards is 0!!!!! Asked the store staff and they did not know anything but just gave me a paper to check online. Emailed but no reply at all. The price of the product is higher but you can not get any rewards. I have memberships in other stores but it is always very easy to handle - just present the card in the store. In Pharmaca, even I present the card, still did not get anything. Very disappointed!! Do not buy if you want to save your time!!

I've been using Pharmaca regularly for the last year to refill my prescriptions. I can't remember a single time (out of probably 8 times) that it went smoothly. This last time was the worst. I called in my refill on Thursday. They told me it was ready on Friday. I went to pick it up Friday and they only gave me 1/3 of the prescription because they were almost out of stock on it. Told me to come back Monday afternoon to get the other 2/3. Came back Monday evening and it wasn't ready. They started to fill it after I asked them to. I sat there for 1/2 hour, until I got fed up and asked them if it was ready... It was. They had been calling many other customers but never called me even though I was sitting right in front of them the whole time. Terrible service and reliability! Other problems involve them giving me the wrong amounts (again only 1/3, but due to misunderstandings of my insurance, even though I left detailed instructions every time I requested a refill) AND marking the record that they had given me the full amount. That has happened probably 4 times. I give up. The convenience of location isn't worth this hassle! Also I think homeopathics are BS (ok maybe they're effective placebos) and they have an entire wall of them by the pharmacy. I can't really support that either.

The pharmacist is a jerk. I left him a message with explicit instructions, he then misunderstood the message and sent it back over to the other store I just came from. Yet he did not apologize

Very poor customer service. I'm extremely disappointed in the pharmacy team. I had a formula mixed and it was not the proper consistency. They assured me they would take care of the problem but 3 weeks and 5-6 phone calls later, I'm still waiting. I would suggest The Medicine Shoppe for mixing formulas.
