0 STARS. First off I just need to say that the guy who works there is completely disrespectful and condescending. I went here to get leather work done to my chair. Mainly having reinforced straps put in to hold it's integrity. He told me it would be a month and then never called. So I called and he said it would be ready at the end of the week. It wasn't. Same thing again the following week. When I finally got it back the leather straps weren't the same length and the for the main seat is poorly done. My girlfriend used to get her shoes done there but we have decided to move somewhere where the staff has the courtesy to call if us if they can't deliver on what was promised and who appreciate our business.

I have been coming here since 2008. They have fixed my boots, my backpack, and my relations foot ware. I refuse to let anyone else touch my prized leather goods. you are at a loss if you take your leather goods any where else.

Don't let "Sam's" gruff persona fool you; this place rocks! The prices seem high at first, but I just had him totally refurbish 2 pairs of my favorite slip ons. New soles on both, and one pair was suede, which he shampooed for free. Both came back looking brand new for less than $50 each. To buy them new would have cost me ~$200 (leather is expensive these days!) so I'm happy. Highly recommend!

My sneakers came back looking better than new! With the modified rocker bottoms, I can't wait to walk anywhere. Definitely worth the wait & price.

I brought in two pairs of heels. One (satin kate spade pumps) only needed the heel stop replaced. The other pair (patent leather baby dolls with a stacked and wide heel) were DESTROYED by my many nights in the city and along cobblestone streets in Alexandria. I was certain the heels were damaged beyond 100% repair. The metal was exposed as was the plastic underneath, and the stacks in the heel were torn off. Took both to Torrey, and for $12.50 each, I was returned shoes with heels that looked newer than the shoes did. It was like magic. And now my favorite stacked heels are back in my wardrobe! PS-never wrote a review until now, this place is that good.
