My husband took me here for one of our first dates and we went back for our 24th wedding anniversary. And just like back then the food was GREAT! When friends come to visit I recommend Pacific Cafe because they do seafood the way it should be done! Fresh, made to order and fast service! The servings are decent and my husband likes the comp wine while waiting for a table. Now that we're old we go before 6pm and always get a table quickly - but he still gets his wine!

Their seafood is very fresh and delicious. They've been around since 1974 and I just feel good supporting this restaurant. The free wine while you wait for your table is a nice touch. They don't take reservations but if you go outside of the busiest times or during the week it is very manageable.

Pricey for what it is. Service with a smile. Seafood frsh but menu could be more varied. Over the years of coming here it hasn't changed much and often too much covering up.with sauces etc. If you are going to.use.the gimmick of giving away wine on the sidewalk as you wait for a table... At least don't add water to.it.. its just tacky and I'd prefer they offer better wine at a.discounted price and say that... Or just offer a.low cost boxed chardonnay or merlot ...

The service is wonderful especially when they serve a free complimentary glass of wine to each customer who waits for a table. The food served were quite standard like salad, soup, and entree. I think I was too full to enjoy the meal (long story), but I did find the fish I ordered to be too lean and dry even with the cream sauce. I am going to have to try a different entree and be hungry next time.

Large pieces of fish. The best crab cakes I've ever had. The best service in the city. This really is my boyfriend and I's favorite place to go and take family when they are in town. Or you know - to grab a great meal - in a relaxed setting - on a Wednesday. The lines can be long on the weekend - but I've really never minded the wait.

Can't beat wine while you wait. Otherwise, the food is pretty standard. Many seafood options but nothing to write home about.
