If you're looking for a treat, you've really found one here at this Italian gem! NYC appears to have GF options until you attempt the take out market. This adorable Italian counter-service restaurant serves up all sorts of Family Recipes from handmade Desserts (of all kinds! strudels, cakes, cupcakes, breads, brownies), Wraps, Sandwiches, PASTAs and Pizza (by the slice)!!! :)

Great pizza. Simple ingredients done right. The GF pizza was excellent. The cafeteria-like atmosphere was a miss for me, but otherwise or was perfect.

I came here for lunch occasionally for their lunch special. You get 2 slices with a foundation drink for $5. Their plain slice pizzas are not the best but they are not horribly bad either. I am quite fond of their garlic knots. It is quite unusually shaped but has the perfect amount of oil and garlic. On the side note, be sure to double check your tab. I ordered one of the garlic knots my first time [they are priced for 1pc and 3 pcs] but they guy gave me two pieces instead. And the cashier tried charging me for 3 pcs, when I told them I ordered and wanted only one. I didn't notice it at the time, as they boxed up your food for you while I was filling my foundation drink. I got a mean dirty stare when I told them.

Awful. Order service is terrible. Am constantly told that they 'can't come up to deliver because they don't have the time' Well, its your business MAKE the time.

Horrible experience. First of all everyone there was very rude - nobody would answer any questions I had and if they did it was one word answers and then off to do something else. The menu is all wrong - either they don't make it gluten free (ravioli squares) or they didnt have it (everything else. So you could go there and have pizza and that's it. The pizza was OK but the place near my house makes much much much better gluten free pizza. Not sure why they have a good reputation for GF stuff. Never going back again.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE - I would like to give it no stars but unfortunately I had to give it one to write the review. This place is a block away from our apartment. We ordered takeaway and it took an hour and half to get here. When we opened the boxes the food was burnt - I mean black. The sweet potato chips, the chicken tenders and the mozzarella sticks were BURNT BLACK. I have no idea how someone allowed it leave the kitchen. When I called to complain the girl gave me attitude. I told her they were inedible and the kids wouldn't touch it. I asked for a refund on the fried foods (we ordered some pasta also which I said I was OK to keep) and she was talking to someone in the background about the refund/return and there seemed to be some arguing going on. Then this guy gets on with a heavy accent and starts yelling at me that 'that's the way the food is', he started rambling and ranting and not even letting me get a word in. I told him again, 'its burnt black, its inedible'. He didn't want to hear it. Then he starts yelling at me again to pack it all up and he'll send someone to collect it and hangs up on me. My husband tried to call telling the guy to calm down probably 20 times but the guy hung up on him twice more. My husband rang one more time and spoke to a girl that answered, asked for the owners name and asked when he would be in again which is Monday. He told her that we would keep the food and we would be bringing it in on Monday and showing the owner what leaves his kitchen and is sent to customers. Don't think she liked that because she said 'fine' and hung up on him again. I've never written a review before but this place deserves one. The food - REVOLTING. The Staff - RUDE AND REVOLTING. So many better places to eat in New York than this awful place - take your money elsewhere..

Gluten-free PIZZA is good & tasty, crust is thin and crispy! Would give 5-stars if cheese were organic. Gluten-free CARROT CAKE and BROWNIE CAKE are both really good. Icing is thin and airy, not too sweet as most icings tend to be. Dad's gluten-free cookies are also good - had a sample of the Ginger Spice. (Yes, they give samples of cookies!) Service was very friendly. Will gladly return!

Gluten free? Not as it should be. I think that everything is cross contaminated. Pizza is like all the other pizza you can find in ny. I saw that they know what cross contamination is, but the space they use and the way they do pizza make really difficult to be real gluten free even if thay write it everywhere.
