Today on Palm Sunday Resurrection gathers for its annual Palm Sunday movie night for the film entitled DO YOU BELIEVE?
We in the USA have such freedom to embrace our faith. No threats. No bomb blasts that are routine unlike the Christians today who were targeted in a Nile Delta blasts on Palm Sunday - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-39544451

So come tonight and set the tone for a Holy week at 6:30 pm. Snacks are provided.

Today the Gospel for Lent 4 speaks of having our sight restored. What is it like to be blind? Are we aware that we at times are and what it would take to have the blindness removed. Today the Rector shared the song Testimony from the Musical Amazing Grace as the moving cornerstone of the his homily . Listen to the power of this song and consider if you are ready for such a change and such a joy at https://youtu.be/w9zqb4Hx6VI

As Church of the Resurrection continues the work to transform its new home on Van Dyke into a classically Anglican Liturgical space for mission and ministry we rejoice with Fr. Don Curran and our brothers and sisters in Ocala as they begin new construction at Christ The King Parish.

Just before Christmas, Christ the King Anglican Church in Ocala, Florida, announced that it would be breaking ground on a new church building immediately adjacent to Grace Christian School.

The first phase will be a two-story, multi-purpose structure that, in the short term, will fulfill all the needs of the day-to-day life of the church. Eventually, a tiered courtyard and a sanctuary will accompany this first building. The design–blending traditional with the contemporary–will include elements of early church and early Anglican architecture.

Fr Don says, “This is a truly wonderful moment for the church. Our hope is that this new building will better enable us to serve the community, reach more people for the Gospel of Jesus Christ and grow the Kingdom of God.”

Resurrection joins Christ the King in a prayer for both building projects: “guide us as we build a place that will honor You and benefit Your people for generations to come. Let it be a place that will proclaim Jesus as Lord and provide rest for the weary, food for the soul, and hope for the hurting….It is for Your kingdom that we labor, and it is to You that we offer this prayer, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen.”
