I like their prices and I love the level of service you get here. Sometimes you have to wait a few minutes because there are lots of other customers but it's worth the wait. They've always answered every question I've had and their employees know their products. They also have some very good sales going on and I don't want to miss any of them. The only complaints I have is that they're not in Saginaw, Texas and I'm not on their mailing list. Otherwise this place is AWESOME!!!!!

Outstanding store!! Even if you know what you are looking for, ask an associate! They often have better deals in the store than you see online!!! I have saved money and walked out with better PC components because I was shown some great bundles specials!!

I went to Microcenter for the first time today and wow! I live out of state and was in town visiting and saw they had the cpu I wanted on sale so stopped by and ended up getting much more! Sales staff was fantastic let me know about bundles and answered every question I had without hesitation. My first time building a pc and I probably asked what most people would consider to be dumb questions but they explained everything and made me feel great. I can't remember all of their names but Austin Ranalletta helped me tremendously with my cpu choice, motherboard, and power supply and suggested the bundle that ended up saving me over 40 dollars. Great staff, not pressuring at all! If I lived in town I would be in weekly. Great job guys I hope this review makes it back to the store so they know they are doing it right!

Great place to shop, salesmen are more knowledgeable than any at BB, Frys or other electronics retailer... prices are highly competitive too especially on Apple products and BYO PC parts.

While I've shopped here for a number of things and been pleased with pricing (although beware of their "Clearance Items" that are often above-market priced) -- this review is really for the service department based on my experience a week ago... My laptop started blue-screen/rebooting every 15 minutes and so suddenly I have an emergency. Took my laptop to Microcenter with a very explicit instruction - replace the SSD as I suspected it was the culprit based on previous experiences. But, my laptop is an ultabook with tricky "must disassemble to access" hard drive replacement. Plus, with a randomly rebooting unstable existing drive, I didn't have much hope they could save the data but asked them to try. Having explained all this, I was prepared for a reasonably priced bill. I was quoted $69 for hard drive installation and cloning. And they thought they could get it back that evening! So, that evening rolls around and no word, so I call. Sure enough the technician is on his third try to clone the drive. I see the cascading charges rolling up in my head but I still want my data so I take the head-in-the-sand approach and ask them to soldier on. Tech calls the next morning, laptop is ready, appears stable and they appear to have recovered all the old data. I go pick it up and the charge is... $69, just as quoted! I couldn't have been more pleased. So hats off to Microcenter for persistence and very reasonable service pricing and turn-around time! Again, I could not have been more pleased! (And to anyone who thinks Intel SSD's are highly reliable, I have one with 2yrs on it and minimal usage that says they aren't all that any more!)

Went there and everything was fine. My mom and I got the parts we needed and then went to the checkout. She didn't have her purse so ok I go to get it and of course they lock the damn door behind me. Its like they don't want me to buy here. Horrible customer service didn't even say sorry when I was stuck outside and I was waiting until I literally banged on the door. And then of course they laughed behind my back (or so my mom says) and my mom got angry at me. So please buy here only in the daytime, as for some reason their customer service sucks at night. Prices do rock though and they have a wide selection of parts and computers. EVEN A MAC SECTION. And their open box is good although, watch out for some items. Bought a openbox laptop a few weeks ago and they said it would have a clean Windows 8.1 install but it actually had a Microcenter account enrolled. Had to reinstall myself.

I placed an order for a monitor and laptop recently. When only the monitor arrived i assumed that they had shipped my orders separately despite me calling the day prior to confirm ship date for both items and was informed it would be next day. I called their technical support line and was informed that the laptop was discontinued and that it was out of stock so they were going to refund my account. why wouldn't the company send me any notification that my order was NEVER coming. Why would your website have the item still showing as available. Lastly, why did the poor gentleman that i apologize for being disgruntled with not have an answer to either of these questions. Not satisfied.

i was looking to add RAM to my laptop, the service guy looked online and his inventory for the correct one, installed it and now i'm flying on the Internet, unlike fry's who i had to exchange the chip 3 times and my laptop rejected it. no problems at Micro Center. I will go back.
