This place is tucked away in a random location off Airport, but it's a hidden gem. It's nothing fancy. Which is probably the reason I love it so much. Great place to for shrimp, oysters, and fried anything. I often get the catch of the day, which the past couple times has been swordfish. Oh and one thing to note – the mac and cheese is more like baked cheesy spaghetti. It's weird the first time, but after you get used to the idea, you start to love it.

This is a gem. Being from Louisiana I really enjoy seafood. While this place might not cook with all the spices etc - the seafood is fresh. And that is simply key. The expansion is awesome. But my favorite part is to go and sit at the bar order a dozen oysters and a couple of pints of Firemans 4 with my wife. It is something simple like this that makes me feel at home. If you feel adventuresome - order a box of 100 oysters from the seafood counter and suck them yourself. A true treat.

What a treasure! The food was delicious and they have live music on select nights. We will definitely go back. It was busy but the service was still excellent. Food was great except for the corn on the cob side. That was pretty rubbery, but that was the only complaint we had and there are plenty more sides to try.

Really great food and service! I've driven by this place so many times without realizing it was a restaurant. So glad I decided to poke my nose in and check the place out!

An Austin landmark. If you want seafood at a reasonable price this is the place to come whether you are shopping for your kitchen or going out for a bite. A relaxed place to visit.

Never ate inside but I think the fresh seafood counter is underrated. For under $30, there is a sashimi meal for two/three. We can't leave without some fatty salmon and tuna. There is eel there too, but I haven't tried it yet -the portion is way more than we can handle. The place is always bustling and the live music is pretty good. Don't be surprised if there is a line -just be glad the place is big enough that you aren't waiting outside.
