Local students in Texas have bound together in teams to construct robots for the Austin Marathon & Half Marathon thanks to the Freescale Foundation.

The Foundation works closely with local groups to encourage students involvement and interest in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields. With the help of non-profit First in Texas, they recognized robotics is a fun and exciting way to get students involved in these fields.

"Your donation, no matter the amount, is one more dollar towards finding a cure and at the very least, improving the medications and treatments available so that those with T1D, especially the young children, can live a more normal and stress free life." - Mark Myhal, Norah Joy's granduncle

Support Norah Joy's fight at https://2015-cooper-river-bridge-run.everydayhero.com/us/jamforjoy. American Diabetes Association

"Finding a cure for Norah and others means a lot not just to me, be even more so for those who have this disease and for the parents of young ones who have it, that they might one day be able to rest easy and get a good nights sleep."
