We often see Tripadvisor reviews where resorts and hotels have been marked down because visitors have been put under pressure to buy a timeshare while staying there.

There is currently a petition underway to enforce 5 yearly exit reviews in timeshare contracts, entitled 'Timeshare contracts shouldn't be for life'.

It will be interesting to see if it can affect a change to a long standing contractual norm in the industry.
