I've begun to understand why people would buy phablets.
I have my Dell Venue 8 Pro (8") and LG F7 (4.7"). As much as I like the larger screen on the Venue, for media consumption, it doesn't appeal as a better experience.
Windows 8 is seriously lacking good apps in the market place. But if it had Android, it wouldn't make much a difference to me. My HD phone presents great, clear videos. My tablet just stretches out the image. I kind of liked the larger screen for videos, at first. But, I always went for my phone first to watch Youtube, or any form of media consumption.
For productivity, hands down my Venue is the obvious choice. Image editing, writing long documents, downloading content, retaining content on the drive.
I'm keeping my Venue for work purposes, but I clearly see now that tablets are not my thing. I'm glad I didn't buy a Nexus 7.
Xperia Z Ultra (6.4") looks too large for me, but something around 5.8-6" would be perfect. I much prefer to have an all-in-one device.
(Its unfortunate that I'm broke and Republic Wireless will most likely not get any phablets D:)
Anyone else feel the same about tablets ?
