Head over to our blog to learn how your child or classroom can be involved with Doodle 4 Google. Their work could be featured on the Google home page and they could get a $30,000 college scholarship plus a $50,000 technology grant for their school. Deadline is March 23.
We're putting the finishing touches on "Jubileum!", an exhibition of prints by the talented--and highly in-demand--designer and screenprinter Amy Jo Hendrickson Flattum. Catch up on Amy Jo in this recent HPR piece, and join us next Thursday at 6 p.m. for an opening reception to kick off the show.
Know an aspiring student artist? Encourage them to enter the 2012 Doodle 4 Google competition! Not only is there a $30k college scholarship and a $50k tech grant up for grabs for the winning artist, his or her artwork will also be featured on Google.com and in an exhibition here at the Museum. Learn how to enter today!
A few shots of the installation of the Misfit Cup Liberation Project, an ongoing project by artist Michael Strand. Strand will put a hand-fired cup in each of the wooden "orphanages." The public is welcome to bring in their own misfit cup and exchange it for one of Michael's, provided they also leave a short story about their own cup.
