Not a new shot, but I finally got around to editing this one. I played around with a bunch of concepts, but I finally decided with some help from my frands, that simple is better.

Check out this new blog post I wrote for a friend's recently launched blog, MotiveLife.

MotiveLife is supposed to be a resource for automotive photographers, but my recent blog post really applies to studio photographers of any type. #photographytips   #studiophotography   #studiophotographyinsights

Just ordered two strip boxes (I don't know why I havent got them sooner considering I mostly do product photography) and wanted to try them out tonight. This was pretty quick. Experimenting with the best ways to light a glass. This pic would obviously benefit greatly from a clean glass and acrylic ice cubes, but again it's not a portfolio shot...simply a test.

Made this post yesterday on Facebook, but I know there are some people on here who I have yet to thank.

Reminiscing on my past accomplishments. Thanks to everyone whose helped me along the way. 26 magazines and 5 covers, I think. Here's to a 2013 where I increase those totals.

Taken for one of +Alex Koloskov hangouts sometime last year. I think this was my favorite pic from all the assignments. +adidas Originals +adidas

I've had a few people recently ask me how this shot was created. Check out this short animation to see a view at the entire editing process from start to finish.

Shot for the March issue of Modified Magazine.

Wanted to show off the lines of the car, so I used a scissor lift to get high above the car. Sides were illuminated with several exposures and 4 Alienbee B800's. Light strips were created by lighting painting with fluorescent. +Mazda USA +RX8 +Modified Magazine
