I don't give a damn about some nougat, still works perfect with the marshmallow.

Furthermore a stable custom rom needs also closed source software, think about the blobs (Bord support packages, HALs, etc.)...

Yeah, Yeah, they (allegedly) weren't in loop with the management, they say now.. lol 😂
All op2 owners know that this device is dead already, last 3 updates were bugfixes only, basically zero development..
Nougat was promised many times by Carl & Helen and all those hip rat catchers, yet the op2 waits for the promised upgrade while many other phones in this range got updated, funny enough that we hear the SD 810 excuses only from oneplus or did Google deny a upgrade to their nexus 6p with the same chipset?
Again, not the device was the mistake, it was the way oneplus decided to handle it..

Haven't tried it yet or rear much about it. Also, not sure how good HTC is these days with Software Updates...

Roland Rohde: If it works well, then HDR can really help make a photo spectacular. Many HDR implementations just flatten the image though. So far I haven't seen anything that rivals Google's HDR+, but I'm looking forward to seeing what OnePlus can achieve with the 5...

Deacon Malia: +Alexis Boom I have a OnePlus One. With a screwdriver, the battery is replaceable. There is official ROM support to this day. New OnePlus phones are still a hell of a lot cheaper than other phones

michael buxton: I like them but the price is going up on them. I'm running a Blu R1 HD unlocked, rooted the latest Android security patches all for $60!

Alexis “The Player Of Games” Boom: Literally being forced to settle with my OnePlus One:
1. No replaceable battery
2. No more official ROM support. Every new exploit for my phone is a zero day exploit
3. New OnePlus devices are far too expensive

I too would have likes to participate, but I won't join Instagram just for this! I'm hoping tue OnePlus 5 Camera will be on par with the Nexus 5X and Pixel Devices. It's unlikely though, because nobody has managed to duplicate Google's HDR+ mode so far...

Kaare Bakken: +Michael Voutas, you never paid 400 euros for a minimum number of major updates, you paid for the phone, period. Since android are developed independently of already released phones, the manufacturers need make sure their old phones are safely compatible with new versions of android. Oneplus have decided the risk of physical issues due to lack of hardware support in current android versions, are too big to risk a lot of issues with op2. This means they have been responsible enough to make sure your phone is still working, outside of warranty time. You should be thankful. However, if you want nougat on your phone, disregarding Oneplus recommendations, you can root it an install custom ROM.

I partly disagree with you. Firstly, I bought a smartphone that it was a "flashing" killer for the 2016 and by a company that claimed that will support its devices for at list 2 years. Secondly, may they decided not to push a new update because there were some major bugs at debugging state. However, I strongly believe that they preferred not to spend many developing hours and give up the one plus 2 . There is no doubt that the specific devise has a powerful hardware configuration and meet the minimum requirements for nougat update. So no, i don't thank the Oneplus and I don't appreciate its decision.

Tom Farrell: Now +OnePlus is gonna say it's just a 1+2 under the 3T and it was all a joke...

Andi Hope: As long as it's the same size screen in a smaller footprint, I'm cool with that. However, there are some rumours of dropping down to 5.2", but I really hope this isn't the case.

Tom Farrell: I see many things a OnePlus 5.
The 1+5 is smaller than the 1+3T although has same screen size, which means bezels are smaller which hopefully means fingerprint is on the back (and maybe on the front too! 😉)

Shazzkid: +Justin,kadafi,Alize, Rowland I don't see why its holding them back, theyre still in the UK market, and the shipping is free, i can order myself a OnePlus while taking a shit and have it delivered to my door and i dont have to pay anything more than the phone device itself

Yannis Anastasakis: I am fascinated by +OnePlus. They make good phones, but they seem to be an absolute unmitigated disaster with pretty much everything else. Their marketing clearly sucks big-time. They can't even get the very basics right... Tried to buy one of their phones last week. They randomly decided to cancel my order a day before delivery was due, and money still not back in my account... Support was keen but largely there to cast misinformation and misdirection. All in all... fascinating!

Shazzkid: +Yannis Anastasakis You're telling me, the 3T went out of stock in the UK on their website, so i asked support when they would be getting more they said there wont be no more and i should check their social media for updates, yet 30mins later i refreshed the page and stock was back in... Not to mention half of them speak such bad English that when I asked if they automatically send the European model to European orders of the phone i was directed to multiple websites on "will my phone work in X country?" they couldn't understand the simple question, i had to ask and rephrase it about 4 times

James McClellan (ZEXX3S): +Fernando Gil great specs but the software is a Apple clone. Granted you can install Nova launcher or some such, but still it's native feature set is extremely limited.

Evan Langlois (UUDruid74): +Natee Wong If you want cheap and good, try http://monoprice.com for headphones. I have a pair of bullets v2 (but black not white) and they are really good. I also have a pair of recording headphones from Monoprice that are worth 10 times what I paid, but they don't fit in my pocket at work. The Bullets are very decent and well worth the $20

James McClellan (ZEXX3S): +Fernando Gil Too small for today's market trends. The only way you're going to find a halfway decent phone with a screen that size is to buy an Apple
