Consumers have certain rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).  Recent developments in the law suggest that consumers may have the right to orally dispute the validity of a debt, rather than being required to dispute the validity of the debt in writing.  Take a deeper look at these developments in Chris Roberts's latest post for The Class Act.
