PRINT MEETS WOVEN: A LOVE STORY to talk about the ins and outs of mixing prints and yarn dyes/wovens with lots of samples on hand.

Jennifer Sampou has produced over 3500 fabrics and sold over millions of yards since she has began designing in the late 1990's. She has always been attracted to laying and mixing prints, and oven (yarn dyes) in quilts. Delighted to be speaking at  Cotton Patch, she will introduce her latest collection Studio Stash Prints and Yarn Dyes. She will talk in detail about mixing and matching them, how they work, react and the importance of the "boring, quiet or ugly" colors to truly make your quilt sing. Jennifer's life ambition is becoming a better artist and designer everyday. She studies all types of inspiration: represented in our museums to continue her exploration of color, value, balance and scale and how it relates to her own journey in fabric design and quiltmaking.
