We have a new name: The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square. The change was made to better align with our sponsor, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The new name reflects the heritage of the Choir’s home in the Salt Lake Tabernacle and its location on Temple Square. Read more about the change on our FAQs.

55 years ago, on September 26, 1963, President John F. Kennedy made his fifth and final visit to Utah. He gave a 27-minute speech in the Salt Lake Tabernacle. During his speech, he praised the Mormon pioneers saying, “Of all the tales of America's pioneers and settlers, none is more inspiring than that of the Mormon Trail."
