Bubby's is a shining example of why farm to table is an excellent way to eat, especially when it comes to brunch. Known for their laid back and cozy atmosphere, Bubby's is a long standing NY staple that offers comfort food made from fresh ingredients and a pie menu that will blow your mind (key lime is the winner). Still, nothing beats their landmark brunch specials including my personal favorite the Abe Lincoln, which is essentially a variant on the Lumberjack breakfast. But if you're gonna visit during the weekend, prepare for possible long wait times. Also, don't skip out on the in house cured bacon, delectable biscuits, seasonal cocktails and perfectly seasoned home fries. Bottom line: my favorite brunch spot in the city hands down, definitely worth the wait.

Stumbled into this place late one night with a group of ravenous friends. Delicious comfort food, you can seldom go wrong with mac n chesse but even then, they seemed to have perfected the recipe-I loved it. Among their pies, sour cherry is my favorite. Casual atmosphere, friendly waitstaff, good food-if this was close to my apartment, would frequent it more often.

Food: It is farm-to-table and one of NYC's best brunches! The pancakes, salads, and organic burgers are an experience! Drinks: Excellent. They offer a great selection of specialty drinks. I recommend the NY Sour! Space: Small, intimate, and homey feel. The bar area is small but conducive to mixing and mingling. The dining area is larger, but still intimate. Scene: Filled with locals, the ocassional movie star, professionals and tourists. Crowd: 20-40s Great for date night, singles, & get togethers. Service: Very courteous and professional! Reserve ahead, since it does get very busy during brunch and dinner hours.

**BRUNCH** Okay, I'm in a bit of a love hate relationship when it comes to Bubby's.... I love EVERYTHING except the price. No really, it can get pretty pricey, but it is worth it. Quality ingredients, farm to table, and PIE! DELICIOUS PIE! The vibe is super chill for such a busy busy place, and it can also get quite cramped. One thing that you will notice is the crowd, typically a wealthier set, which can be littered with celebs. For instance, Beyonce, Man of World Peace, and Rihanna are just a few that I've been in the room with. Sometimes that alone makes the whole experience worth it. I highly recommend going with the Bubby's Country Breakfast or any of the griddle offerings. The pancakes are soooo good and fluffy, and thick! Always ask for extra butter... always! And, get that pie on your way out. The pie is for later, not for now ;)

One of my favorite destinations for breakfast-for-dinner. Incredible pancakes. Excellent late-night destination for a nightcap of waffles. Good selection of beer on tap in in the bottle. If you're in TriBeCa and craving breakfast (no matter what the time is) this is an excellent choice.

Brunch was very good, i can recommend the pancakes with scrambled egg. Set us up for a cold day walking round New York. Pricey? Yes, but it was worth the money!
