Dual staining by IHC to determine prognosis in patients with diffuse large B cell lymphoma.
Lymphoma is the most common form of hematological malignancy. It occurs when cells of the immune system begin to behave abnormally and grow and multiply uncontrollably. These abnormal lymphocytes can travel to many parts of the body, including lymph nodes, spleen, bone marrow, blood and other organs where they can form cancerous tumors, crippling our immune system.

New AppNote: Our industry-leading CYTAG™ aCGH technology outperforms our nearest competitor’s kit, yielding higher yield of labeled DNA, higher dye incorporation, and better specific activity. We used an Innopsys InnoScan 910, a high-resolution microarray scanner to perform the testing. Check it out here: http://www.enzolifesciences.com/about-us/collaborations-at-work/genomics/high-resolution-microarray-scanner-used-to-compare-cgh-labeling-methods/
Enzo Life Sciences has developed a unique technology, known as array comparative genomic hybridization (aCGH), which screens the entire genome and detects copy number variations. It is now a well-established method used to analyze genomic gains and losses ranging from duplications and deletions to unbalanced translocations and aneuploidies. Enzo’s aCGH kit outperformed the competitor’s kit in every category: specific activity, yield, and dye inco...

TechNote Friday: Engineering improved “Magic Bullets” to combat disease
ntibodies (Abs) are widely used in therapeutic, diagnostic, imaging, biosensor, and research applications. Antibody-based therapeutics have been highly successful clinically and represent one of the fastest growing sectors in the pharmaceutical industry. Paul Ehrlich laid the early foundation for advancing antibody therapy by postulating the concept of magic bullets.

Automated “painting” of HPV in head and neck cancers
Human papillomavirus (HPV) is a DNA virus from the papillomavirus family that is capable of infecting human keratinocytes of the skin or mucous membrane. In a majority of cases, HPV infection will not cause any physical symptoms and may remain unnoticed. Unfortunately, the presence of HPV might also lead to the development of benign papillomas (e.g. warts) or malignant cancers of the cervix, head and neck, penis, rectum, and vagina.
