Where do I begin...let's start with the positives: On-site Staff: Excellent Managers and Front Desk staff, friendly pool and beach staff as well! Breakfast included in room charges - buffet was plentiful and good. Beach location: perfect, calm turquoise waters, paddle boarding, kayaking, snorkeling all great Free wifi in room, pool AND Beach! Negatives: Wedding Team: Terrible responsiveness; lack of attention and service; lack of ANY initiative. Besides the decorations (most of which we brought ourselves) not being set up properly, shortage of appetizers (should've never listened to Laura about estimating food/canapes), running around in awful heat in a bridesmaids dress, is not how we pictured the day to unfold. What events manager arrives to an event for 5 mins and takes off? Absurd. DEFINITELY STAY AWAY FROM having a wedding here unless they hire someone else with more experience or use an outside experienced events manager. Not worth the risk for such a special day. I wrote a more detailed review listing specifics on tripadvisor. Their response is laughable and of course, they couldn't deny any of the incidents bc it was all true. I would come here to vacation but I would not come here if I wanted to get married. Beware if you're thinking of planning a destination wedding at this resort! Laura must've had some more training if what Angie Foerch wrote was true or maybe Angie is a "friend" of hers. I mean, really, you chose the resort because of the planner? If my review wasn't accurate or justified, then explain how the hotel credited us for all the troubles. Advice: hire Teresa Brunner, top notch service all around (used her for welcome dinner at bay bistro) and we still regret not having hired her in the first place for the wedding. Hotel event coordinators don't need to work that hard when they've already taken your money.

SSR on TCI is simply paradise. The staff is so friendly and there to serve. They treat everyone like royalty. They are welcoming of couples and families alike. The breakfast greeters loved to pick up the babies and carry them around to let the mom's eat and enjoy. They are so sweet. The facilities are great - the gym is high quality. The resort is the largest on the island, but it's still very small. You can walk easily to anywhere you need. The pool and beach are right outside each of the towers' exits/entrances. The beach amenities are amazing as well. So much is free with your stay - guests can take a kayak or sailboat out, go snorkeling just outside the resort, go paddle-boarding, or float in the pool or the ocean with the most amazing floats. The floats are the best amenity there. Our experience wouldn't have been the same without them! And there is a little town right outside the resort walls. Left or right gets you to local shopping and restaurants. And there is a grocery store only 50-100 yards outside the front gate. If your room has a kitchen, you can stock up on drinks and lunches....and dinner. I would recommend since the food/drinks at the resort are very expensive. Buy a Tervis cup though and you'll have a cold drink on the beach all day. Just fill up in your room. You need a break during the day to eat a sandwich for lunch and put on more sunscreen anyway! We will definitely be returning to SSR!

Very high quality, great music, friendly staffs, and delicious food. I had a red snapper. The portion was just great. Highly recommended.

Had a great experience staying here! The hotel rooms are beautiful, super clean and the staff are so friendly. Grace Bay has one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen. Seven Stars will be my choice of hotel whenever I return to the TCI and hopefully that's not a long wait!

I was looking at the website for our return stay for our anniversary and just had to reply to the review of "Elle Choi". Seven Stars was the most absolute perfect place for our welcome bonfire, beach bbq rehearsal dinner and wedding day. Laura was hands down awesome. I knew I didn't have to worry about anything having her as my planner. To be completely honest-she is the reason we chose this resort. She had quick responses to all of my many emails and was very organized. Every event was absolutely perfect and Laura was there to make sure each was. She had every detail we planned spot on. I feel bad that "Elle Choi" didn't have a great experience, but don't listen to those reviews! It doesn't sound like the resort I stayed at or the same planner I had -that's for sure!!! My husband and I will be coming back for our anniversary every year!

The only reason I don't give it five stars is because we'd like it to be more gay friendly. The hotel is fantastic, staff is super gracious. Celebrated our honey moon there and didn't get any gift of perk from hotel as any other resort would have done, at least a congratulations note in our room. Best beach ever!

Odd that most of these reviews seem to come from the Resort staff? Want a more non bias review then I would look at trip advisor.
