This just goes to show how the "music industry" selects whomever the hell they will whenever they want to make rich. This girl is A M A Z I N G... but hey I'm sure she's not willing to do ANYTHING like sell herself, her body, her morals, in the name of "entertainment" to get paid.

I applaud you Jazmine Sullivan, you and India Arie, Jill Scott, Erika Badu, are all on some other fruit that they know not.

Many of you have lived life with a sense or feeling that something is going to happen. Even when you’re going through adversity, when you’re at your weakest, and in your greatest moment of despair, there’s a voice in your spirit that says, “Hold on; something is about to happen.” You can’t explain the feeling, you have no point of reference for it, it’s just a gut feeling that where you are right now is not where you’re going to end up. In the meantime, while you’re waiting for God’s work to be perfected and manifested, you continue to grow. In spite of your blindness, you still grow. In spite of your darkness and isolation, you still grow.

Wow is this real??? I never thought I'd feel ashamed of being black. This is so sad. When do we measure the level of one's ignorance or crime on the color of skin? African Americans have been treated so bad on this earth we've had to fight for our freedom our very existence yet I find a black man speaking the evil of Jim Crow? Light vs. Dark in 2015. It breaks my heart to hear such wickedness. Son is there something you can do to make a difference about the way you feel? Spewing hatred of ones color on youtube isn't going to change anything but make it worse. Talk without a solution is just that TALK that adds fuel to an existing fire. I pray God has mercy on your soul.

If there is a black girl or woman out there listening to this don't you DARE believe this nonsense. I've seen some terrible light skin women and beautiful black queens skin color has nothing to do with WHO you are or what you want to be.
Love the skin you're in and keep our head up!

This smells of TRUTH.

Thought of the Day:
The quality and quantity of service you render fixes your wages and determines what sort of experience you are getting.
__________________________________________________________________

The only constraints that you have on your income and advancement potential are those you place upon yourself. If you don’t like your position, or if you are unhappy with your salary, do something about it.

- What can you do to make yourself more valuable to your department or your company?
- What tasks have not been completed because no one has the time or the inclination to take care of them?

Look around and identify things that need to be done. Don’t wait to be asked. If you make it a habit to seek out opportunities, to take on new tasks, you will increase your knowledge about the organization and become such a valued employee that your company can’t afford to lose you.

Today's reading:
The Habit of Doing More The Paid For is one of the most important lesson of the Law of Success. It will teach you how to take advantage of the Law of Increasing Returns, which will eventually insure you a return in money far out of proportion to the service you render. No one may become a real leader in any walk of life without practicing the habit doing more work and better work that that for which he or she is paid.

If you want to succeed in life and enjoy the blessings of God, you must intend to succeed. It won’t happen by accident.

Who let the dog's out?
Introduction
Pretty women wonder where my secret lies.
I’m not cute or built to suit a fashion model’s size But when I start to tell them, They think I’m telling lies. I say, It’s in the reach of my arms, The span of my hips, The stride of my step, The curl of my lips.
I’m a woman Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman, That’s me.

I walk into a room Just as cool as you please, And to a man, The fellows stand or Fall down on their knees. Then they swarm around me, A hive of honey bees.  I say, It’s the fire in my eyes, And the flash of my teeth,  The swing in my waist,  And the joy in my feet.
I’m a woman Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman, That’s me.
Men themselves have wondered  What they see in me. They try so much
But they can’t touch My inner mystery. When I try to show them,
They say they still can’t see. I say, It’s in the arch of my back,
The sun of my smile, The ride of my breasts, The grace of my style.
I’m a woman Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman, That’s me.

Now you understand  Just why my head’s not bowed.  I don’t shout
or jump about Or have to talk real loud.  When you see me passing,
It ought to make you proud. I say, It’s in the click of my heels,
The bend of my hair, the palm of my hand, The need for my care.
Cause I’m a woman Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman, That’s me.
