My husband and I had a first date more than 10 years ago at the downtown location. After so many years, I went back to this W Center Rd location. I was very disappointed. The crust looked & tasted like a spring roll skin, which means so oily. I thought they deep fried my slice. It tasted like oil, instead of fresh olive oil or garlic or cheese or anything. The waiter might be new, but it took forever for the food to be delivered to our table. The quality was much better back then. I wonder what happened. If this is the "Best Pizza" in Omaha, it is very sad.

The food is good. Do not go off the menu off their website. As of 8/29/13 it told me I could get a 4 topping gluten free pizza (10 inch) for $12.90. When I called to place my order I was informed it was $17 and change and that it was 12 inches. So....yeah...glad that's on the website. Which is what I look at when I place a call in order.

The pizza is great, the decor is typical and the service is bad. The waitresses and waiters are decent and the managers are poor. I wanted to really enjoy my visit to Zio's because everyone always says how amazing and super awesome it is, however, my experience was different. All I will say in regards to this location is, I hope you don't ever need a manager. The one I spoke with was rude, condescending and did not care if we stayed or left. This in turn has prompted my family to never return to any of the Zio's locations. If a customer has any issues and it does require a manager, I expect the manager to be professional, understanding and courteous.

I will never return to this location. Average food, very poor service. I came in on a Friday night with my parents, we ordered a pizza, appetizer, and beers. I ended up finishing my beer before any of our food arrived (it took WAY longer than necessary). Our waitress came over and asked if I would like "something else to drink." I responded by saying, "Actually, may I have another beer, please?" She did not say anything, she just rolled her eyes and gave me THE JUDGIEST look I have ever received. I had been kind and polite to this woman despite her being a total bitch from the moment she seated us. I am 24 years old. I was clearly not too intoxicated to handle a second drink. I was not driving myself home. My parents were more than okay with me ordering a second drink. This woman had absolutely NO business treating me the way she did.

Ordered the margharita pizza and added garlic and ricotta was the best pizza I have ever eaten. Hands down. End of story.

Food is great, maybe a tad pricey compared to the chain joints, but they make better quality pizza's. I recommend going to the restaurant over order "to-go". They often put you on hold if you call in and forget you are there half the time. Only reason they got 3 stars instead of 4.
