Nice!

No #Movember mustaches yet, but a thin layer of frost on our cars will do as our #DriveFree trip continues from Mt. Shasta!

Help Trevor build a Raspberry Pi Computer lab in Maun, Botswana.

Trevor is a US Peace Corps Volunteer who is busy building a Raspberry Pi
Computer lab in Maun, Botswana: his project page is here: http://ow.ly/pJybf. We are really excited to see more projects like this getting underway: widening access to computers in the developing world was a big part of our thinking when we started designing the Pi. Do check Trevor's work out: there's a donation button on the page if you are feeling generous.
The Center. The Maun Branch of Botswana Family Welfare Association (BOFWA) will be creating a Health and Education Resource Center on its property at Riverside Ward in Maun. The center will feature a Raspberry Pi computer lab. Raspberry Pi is a non-profit based in London that has created a ...

This was the last scheduled test for the Grasshopper rig; next up will be low altitude tests of the Falcon 9 Reusable (F9R) development vehicle in Texas followed by high altitude testing in New Mexico.

Python!

Google Code Python Videos
Google doesn't provide direct download links, but download managers like JDownloader (I use this one) will decrypt the links and give you a selection of videos to download from these YouTube links. The Google page for learning Python is pretty good. I have, however, downloaded the pages and made a PDF for them for offline viewing. I am away from home and have a very slow internet connection, so offline viewing is usually my only option.

Had a chance to swing by the grand opening of the +Tesla Motors Palo Alto showroom and take a peek at one of the Model X prototypes #throughglass.

For the record, I attempted to talk them into letting me pre-order a hypothetical future self driving Tesla, but was turned down. :p

Running “everything” in a web browser used to be a bold statement. However, due to the increasingly powerful 3HTML5 / #JavaScript stack, a web browser has now become a dominant application delivery platform. Even the #Linux #kernel sandboxed in a web browser no longer sounds so crazy these days.
