Today begins our 10th Anniversary of the Wooster Collective website. As we kick off the new year, we've been reflecting back on our lives and all that we've experienced in the last decade.  So as we embark on 2013, we asked a group of artists who we showcased in the beginnings of the website the following question:

What's the one thing that you learned in the last decade that you had wished someone had told you 10 years ago?

Our first response comes from Adam Neate...

Nice

Here is an awesome stencil animation my friend, Brian Steckel made for his son, Grey. This was made from photos of actual stencils which Brian went out and painted on various surfaces. There's also a corresponding map which shows the locations of each individual frame.

We hope this this is just the beginning of cleaning up a form of profiteering from street art that has bothered us and artists for a long time....

The following response comes from one of the first artists we ever showcased on the website, Pure Evil...

Story
Introduction
Marc is the CEO and Founder of the New York based digital brand strategy and marketing agency, BOND Strategy and Influence (formerly Electric Artists)

Under Marc's direction, BOND is now successfully consulting a broadening array of consumer products and service companies, from video games and executive recruitment to baby care, financial services and more.

Marc, along with his wife Sara, are the Wooster Collective. Their mission is to discover and document authentic art experiences via salons, publishing, gallery shows, and of course, their website, www.woostercollective.com.

The Schillers were behind the "11 Spring Street" exhibition in December of 2006 which was chosen as one of the top art shows of the year by the New York Times. The couple have become a global source as curators and as a mouthpiece for this movement of ephemeral art.
