Easily our favorite spot my wife and I visited on our trip to this amazing city. We met and dined with another couple (wonderfully complete strangers), sampling almost everything they had to eat, and polishing off 5 bottles of the house sparkling wine between the 4 of us. Just looking at the photos posted here make me shiver at the memories of this great place, and not just we stumbled out of there stuffed and hammered. I only hope to be able to return someday soon. A must visit for anyone visiting Barcelona.

Great food with very nice staff. This place was packed which made it fun. Get up to the counter and you will get the best service. Just point, eat and enjoy.

We arrived in Barcelona today and found this tapas bar on our way to the Picasso Museum. It was crowded. We stopped in after the museum. The food was wonderful. They have set the bar high for great tapas!

Definitely worth a visit! Very authentic, old style tapas bar. Have the chick peas and sausage dish with a glass of the house red wine. Our waiter was very entertaining, spoke just enough English to help us through the menu, but sang English pop and show tunes perfectly.

Best restaurant I have been to in barcelona. Far better than other restaurants that cost considerably more. The atmosphere is by far the best part of this restaurant. It made me feel a part of spanish culture immediately. I had read reviews of this restaurant online. So got there at opening, there was a queue. After sitting down, the place was packed. Locals were ordering and placing their plate at any point possible. The food was excellent. My limited spanish was not a problem. The waitress after a short conversation brought food she felt we would enjoy. Lastly, it was the only restaurant over my stay that did not add service, yet the service was by far the best I had received. My generous tip then caused a bell to ring, and a cheer from the bar. Fantastic experience.

During our stay in Barcelona, we were told not to miss this place. After walking by it a few times and seeing people lined up we ventured in. First thing is that when I asked the waiter for a menu, he said he was the menu. I didn't really know how to respond but based on our not so great experience with tapas the night before, my husband and I were at a loss for words. He went on to ask us what we liked and suggested anchovies in which we both say "NO"! My husband then mentioned cheese and I mentioned meat (both safe). We ended up having the peppers with goat cheese, meats and cheese tray. They had a specialty drink which was like sparkling wine which we enjoyed. It was pretty pricy for what we got, but worth it as the atmosphere was first-of-its kind and an experience to be had. Highly recommend
