Woot! I'm finally first in plus 1-ing something! This is one of the servers I will be making characters on and getting to know the community with before we settle on a "official" server for the radio station :)
Is it normal for the UPS guy to attempt delivery through your garage door where you would NEVER hear him knocking, instead of your front door with a notice telling you that if you want your package you have to meet him at some parking lot for a Greek restaurant a mile away at 3:45 in the afternoon?
You'd think they'd know better than to ask a woman to go off somewhere to meet a strange man in a parking lot. UPS actually said "sometimes that happens with special clients we're willing to go out of our way for". They acted like they were doing me a favor, not asking a single woman to go against every safe dating tip her mother ever told her.
Just to be safe, I'm stomping my shoe-prints in aluminum foil now......
This story goes two ways. There are real people like this that need to be dealt with. On the other hand, there are good gaming parents who meet their kids' needs and still get accused and vilified as 'bad parents' because they play video games. Ever been through that yourself?
One further question.... have you known people so engrossed in 'fan culture' such as cosplay and conventions that they also became bad parents just like obsessive gamer parents have? I've seen those folks too.
Maybe someone can help me with my psychotic cat. They(two cats) have two food bowls, and whenever ONE food bowl is low enough on food that you can see the bottom--not empty, just that you can SEE the bottom and the other one is half full mind you--my psychotic cat Lucy vomits repeatedly all over the house. I need to limit free feeding and have timed/separate feedings for the overweight one, but Lucy can't even handle the sight of the bottom of her bowl before she's throwing up all over the place. What is up with her? #cats#petcare
+Shien Tomorrow (Thursday 12/15) at 8pm Eastern Time, Game Revolution is thrilled to present the Shien RP server with our very first RP Dance Party. You can tune into the streaming internet radio stream and listen to the music at the same time that you RP on your character that you are in the cantina dancing and meeting new people. I will be the live DJ of the evening, hosting the party both in game and on air. You can read more details at the SWTOR community event forum threads here:
No worries! I'm doing it every week, and we have other shows with crew that will be in game during the week coming up too! There's a regular weekly one on Saturdays for Republic, and another on Tuesday nights for the Empire. We got you covered!
I'd like to have a day where people actually say something independently from their own minds instead of regurgitating the same vomittous mass of memes and shares. When did people turn into boring playback tracks? I'm starting to lose respect for nearly everyone I know because it seems like they all shut their brains off and are flying on remote control done by a monkey on speed.
+Stewart Gee it's so funny you mentioned it, but that post was originally made in response to scrolling through my Facebook profile, not Google+. I should have clarified that. I agree with you that G+ is infinitely better in this regard, for which I'm grateful. +Jason Power In psychology courses there are ideas that the single greatest emotional need all humans are said to have is security, and that anything that is different from one's self or one's group is considered a threat to your own existence as being competition for "the right way" something should be. I'm starting to think humans are biologically incapable of understanding that individualism is a desired trait. We're pack animals to the core.
