This family needed a layout that suited their growing family. With some clever re-structuring we created an additional bedroom and Ensuite to the first floor.
On the ground floor, after considering options of an extension, we decided to work with the current foot-print which saved a lot on the overall budget, whist still achieving the practical requirements. We opened up the back of the house with glazing to the garden, making for a seamless transition between inside to outside. We completely refurbed mixing MidC with Art Deco originals. Originally sourced parquet flooring, statement vintage lighting and gallery walls steal the show in this eclectic house.

This 1930’s detached house is our client’s ‘forever home’! We completely re-structured the ground floor giving them a much larger kitchen and dining room and opened up the back of the house to their amazing garden. We stripped the beams to their natural colour and designed a Rustic Scandi scheme creating a light and airy feel. In the kitchen, vintage factory lighting and an antique dresser are all mixed up with a contemporary kitchen and a bespoke scaffold worktop.

This family of four took the leap from town to country and bought an extensive Farmhouse! Having left the London life, they still craved an edgy vibe to their interiors. So with low ceilings, our first instruction was to strip back the black beams to reveal the honey wood which made the space feel much lighter. We then refurbed throughout mixing Scandi, Mid Century with a boutique hotel feel to the rooms. The Gin bar area is their particular favourite!

This impressive Villa, owned by a very design-led client, lies in the heart of Tunbridge Wells. They had already curated an impressive art collection, so the scheme was designed to hero these pieces as well as conveying an edgy vibe to suit this young family. Mixing Industrial, Vintage, Mid Century and Barkerdesign original pieces; the rooms capture the eclectic look so favoured by Soho House and The Greenwich in New York.
Rooms featured above include the Living Room, Dining Room, Hall & Landing areas and one of the Bedrooms. Decimus Burton Villa to see more rooms.

Our client was down-sizing from a larger ‘arts and crafts’ house to a smaller 3 storey townhouse. Whilst we saved a few statement pieces from their old house, most of their furniture was either too large or unsuitable. What they really wanted was a fresh new look. Starting with a Scandi-style canvas of off-whites and greys. We then chose contemporary pieces with sleek architectural lines and mixed with vintage mirrors, 1950’s cocktail chairs, reclaimed furniture, and industrial style chairs. The result was a mix of old meets new which sits perfectly in this light and airy house.

Total re-structure and extension of Victorian Villa in Tunbridge Wells. Working closely with the Architect we reviewed the layout plans. We considered carefully how this house would accommodate its family, with three growing children, in years to come. Having their own space with plenty of storage was key. With six bedrooms, four bathrooms and huge open plan living space, we refurbished the house from floor to ceiling in a modern classic style. Muted colours, large format flagstone and antiqued flooring provided the perfect backdrop for bright pops of colour and statement lighting.
