Nice selection of tapas, some things are GREAT, some aren't very impressive. I could eat about a dozen of the lamb sliders. Its size means that it gets packed fast.

This is my favorite food place of all times. It is a little on the expensive side, but totally worth it. Tres Gatos became a benchmark for fine food, I found myself constantly saying: "that was ok, but not as good as Tres Gatos".. Love the atmosphere and bookshop in the back. I've noticed they have certain times were the kitchen is closed so be aware of timing. A personal favorite is Patatas Bravas

Overpriced and tiny portions. Yes, I am aware that it's a tapas restaurant. It's just an expensive one.

Tres Gatos is my favorite neighborhood spot. It's a small space, so it tends to be busy, but I enjoy bustle and haven't had too much of a wait for a table during my 5+ visits here. The food is always fresh, inventive and well-presented, and when you pair it with TG's extensive wine list or thoughtful beer selections, you're sure to leave happy (especially if you take some time to visit the music/bookstore in the back -- multitasking at its finest!)

Good food, but overpriced and far from authentic Spanish fare. Nice for a one time visit!

This place has fantastic food (though, yes, it is a little bit pricey, but totally worth it for a special occasion). If you ever get a chance to talk to the owner, he is the nicest guy and really cares about the community. Great guy! You can see the food being prepared in the kitchen if you walk by, which is a neat touch, and if you go into the back there is a book/record store. If you arrive before your table is ready, the people in the store are always really cool!
