These reviews have to be fake or the people were bribed or something. I found a groupon deal for a haircut, conditioning treatment, and full highlights. Normally I wouldn't risk my precious locks that are waist length to a random salon, but seeing the reviews I figured it was worth a shot. I went in with black hair that had some beautiful but grown out blended dark ombre highlights in it from my previous regular stylist, and told the stylist (Katrina/Katie) to put more of those in. I told her that the best way to do an ombre is to use conditioner on the top half then lighten the bottom half for a gradual fade, but she told me "I'm going to give you foils and then a top coat on the bottom for the gradual lightening". On the first try, I ended up looking into the mirror with a damaged bleached blonde wreck surrounding my face. She never asked me if I liked it or not, but I told her that there was no way I would walk around looking like that. It looked nothing like an ombre, and it was the wrong color DESPITE me having shown her many pictures of what I wanted. But I let her try again. WORST MISTAKE EVER. Just damaged my hair extra. My hair toned down a bit from the bright blonde, but still, the placement of the highlights was just shitty. The haircut was decent, but still not worth all the damage my hair had just received. At the end as I presented the groupon voucher, the front desk assistant told me it was an extra $35. Reading my confused look, she asked "Did she not tell you?" and I responded "Apparently not?". She called Katie over and asked her "Did you tell her about the extra charge?" and she responded "Well I told her I was giving her an upgrade to a top coat but I didn't mention the extra charge, what, is that my fault?" and the assistant simply nodded. Then she let me off with a really sorry look. Thankfully, that day ended with me still having beautiful hair - crazy, I know! I thought all hope was lost but I hit up my regular salon (Alex Emilio) and the lady there saved my life. She even threw in many complimentary conditioning treatments to rescue my hair from the damage. Tipped the girl $60 just because she lifted my mood so much and made me feel beautiful again. I'm not affiliated with them in any way other than just being a happy customer, but I suggest that If you REALLY love your hair and want someone experienced dealing with it, go there. Even though I went on a day with horrible weather, the place was extremely busy - showing that people truly trust these stylists. Unlike Vibe, which must I say, my appointment lasted from 10am to 3pm and not a single other customer walked in all day. That should've been my cue to run out of that place. As if it wasn't bad enough that they ruined my hair, they didn't even refund the amount I had paid on Groupon. Pathetic.

I went to this salon last Thursday to get a make over and my hair didn't come out the way I wanted it :-(. It looked ok when I left but when I got home my hair was really yellow and a copper color!! So I went back the next day to get it fixed hoping it would look better, but not! She put more high lights in to cover up the Orange/ yellow but the color didn't change! Grrr and I paid 100, I'm not a happy lady! Be careful

A found Vibe Salon when I received an offer on line from Living Social. Before purchasing, I checked out their website looking exclusively for pictures of bob styles, and was very impressed with the ones shown. I have gone to various salons, and have rarely been pleased with the bobs I have gotten. I decided to purchase the great deal from Living Social; and when I called to make my appointment, I told the receptionist that I was looking for a stylist who specializes in bobs and she suggested Linda. It took 2 1/2 weeks to get an appointment with her, so I knew that she had to be that good if I had to wait that long. So, today Dec. 11, 2013 I had my appointment, and I was impressed as soon as I entered the salon. It has nice décor and the employees all are very friendly. I received partial highlights and a fabulous bob, and I love both of them. The best part was being told how much younger I look..wow! I highly recommend Linda or any of the other great stylists who also worked their own magic on us clients. Thanks again Linda..you're the best!!

At first, I would have given this place 3 stars. The girl, Katrina, was nice and the studio wasn't bad. I have short hair (mid neck) and I just got a trim in the front and more taken off the back. Afterwards that day when I touched my hair it felt longer on my right side but the way that she styled it I could not tell by looking at it. Also, my bangs were all kinds of terrible, but those grow quickly so I wasn't that upset. Well, after showering and styling it myself the next day, I noticed my right side was about an INCH longer than my left. I called and went back today to fix it. She was nice about it, it was her mistake, and said she was happy to fix it. Before I left I mentioned that now my other side looks a bit longer than the side she just fixed but she said "oh no, it's just the way it's laying" and curled it under with a flat iron. After I went home and inspected it, MY LEFT SIDE IS NOW LONGER THAN MY RIGHT. Seriously??? NEVER going back. Now my hair is STILL lopsided and my bags are AWFUL.

When my nail tech, Katrina, moved from another location to Vibe Hair Studio, I followed her. Katrina does a great job with my nails and she trims my hair as well. She always does a great job and never rushes. I am bit OCD so I like everything to be PERFECT and Katrina does PERFECT well! I really like the salon she moved to, Vibe has a good atmosphere and great deals and prices!
