Glass-walled building on park lakefront, serving breakfast, pizzas, salads and comfort classics.- Google
"Best to save the pulled pork for winter - looked quite oily."

Great service and atmosphere today for a post-OBE investiture lunch. Wonderful views and backdrop for photos. The staff were amazing. Thank you very much,

Serpentine Bar & Kitchen is located in the middle of Hyde Park on the edge of the beautiful Serpentine Lake - it's the perfect spot to enjoy a special family meal. Pizzas made to order are cooked in the wood-fired oven, while British classics like fish and chips and fresh, seasonal salads are served inside or on the roomy riverside terrace.

The perfect location in our prime park in the centre of the city. I cycle past it about 6 times a week, what nicer then having a morning coffee on the way to work in fairly new-furbished Serpentine Cafe. BUT NO! It is staffed by ignorant fools. Every few weeks I ask myself "Maybe the culture has changed in there, and the turnover of poorly paid staff their might be a nice on" Oh what a folly of a thought. Problems i have encountered over a two year "I cycle to work past it period" > Smiling is way out of the question... They HATE YOU! > Service - Hold on I have some gossipy conversation with some gossipy manager that takes four people to have why should any of us possible give a flying fart about who just walked in > A question ? A snear is not a reply. > No we can't heat your croissant, or do anything actually you are lucky we noticed you enough for a coffee today. > HOW MUCH? So the cost i am prepared to pay it is the most prime spot basically in all of london, yknow so £2.50 or whatever for a plain croissant is a rip off. But it is London, going to the loo is a rip-off. But the culture of management in this establishment is not fitting of the county. We are a polite conversational people that require a level of service that includes actually being served. Next time i go in there I just plan on herding a gaggle of geese into the shop and seeing what damage we can do. In the melee of confusion, I will nail a swan to the wall with this review on.

the place is nice, especially during the summer, but avoid the food as it's overpriced and not that great. An example of that is the margherita pizza with oregano on it... ludicrous!

Nice cafe / bar / restaurants that had lots of natural light and great view of the serpentine. Very chilled and relaxing! Great for brunch, catch ups or chilling out.

We visited on an unexpectedly sunny day in mid-February. The outside dining area was buzzing but we managed to find a table. Even though everybody was eating, the queue for ordering was short and the food arrived within ten minutes, piping hot and delicious. The waiters were friendly and efficient and the whole experience was great: sitting in the sunshine, watching the ducks and swans on the lake outside a busy cafe on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

I regularly take my bike down to Hyde Park and stop off at the Serpentine Bar & Kitchen with my laptop to do some work and this is one of my favourite spots in London. The cafe overlooks the lake where you are surrounded by birds and tourists and has a buzzing atmosphere. The food and drinks are good, however a little on the expensive but you are paying for location.

High prices, good sweets, and in the one of the Hyde Park's hotspots. it's okay. You have in summer an ice cream point outside, with large queues.
