:: Digital Art
Bruno Wagner

Born in Strasbourg in 1979, he graduated in applied arts. Snatched by the new technologies and the craze for internet, he turned towards a multimedia graduation.

He became an experienced Web designer and Flash animator and fulfills his position as an Art Director in an agency.
But illustration remained his first calling. Very young, he was fascinated by artists like Boris, Siudmak, HR Giger, Brom and his work stays inspired with his first loves.
Strongly attached to traditional techniques, he works with oil or acrylic on canvas and sometimes revisits them in front of his screen.
He also entirely creates in digital. Now he is resuming his work as an illustrator with a lot of fervor for book covers, publications, etc.

Andre Kohn

Raised by an artistically gifted family near the Caspian Sea in southern Russia, Andre Kohn’s childhood was marked by the natural splendor of mountains and sea, and by an unfettered access to all the creative arts.

Kohn’s parents also encouraged their son to draw on any surface-including the wallpaper in their home-which they simply re-papered when he grew old enough to favor sketchbooks.
His father, a colonel in the Russian Army, was the first candidate to participate in the post-Cold War officer exchange program at the U.S. Air War College in Montgomery, Alabama. In 1993, while Kohn was in America visiting his parents, his father announced his intention to defect to the United States.
Suddenly, the young artist realized he would never again be permitted to return to his homeland.
It took little time for American art audiences and media to discover the mature, fresh figurative painting style of the young Russian.

His first one-man show in America created instant interest in his work and helped introduce Kohn to audiences in his adopted country.
Kohn remains a preeminent leader of Figurative Impressionism which seeks to capture the complexity as well as the simplicity and directness of the human form.
Despite Kohn’s unrepeatable pallet, personally developed style and unique interpretations of form, his education is enduring. From his home in Arizona, Kohn travels the world for inspiration, periodically returning to France to continue his formal, classical studies.

Kohn’s work is represented by premier galleries in the United States and he is a regular contributor to invitational exhibitions. Kohn is a frequent subject of highly regarded art publications, and his unique ability to communicate the expressiveness of the human form has kept him a mainstay of private, corporate and permanent museum collections worldwide.

:: Traditional Art
Zhao Chun

Zhao Chun is a Chinese painter, born in 1970 on Shenyang City, Liaoning province – China, whose late works have treated the Miao woman.

Starting in a realistic and baroque depiction of the Miao women, all them impeccably attired with their most elaborated traditional dresses and their most enticing head ornaments, Zhao Chun set free his personages in the universe. And in a moment, for the magic power of the painting, they become goddesses.
Goddesses of the universe, as we see in some of the paintings, where they adopt a telluric aspects that seems to fulfill the attributes of the goddess. So we can see them as big as the sun, talking with the wind, caressing the moon, living in the celestial environment suitable to their immortal quality as goddesses.
Sometimes they preside aver more quotidian environments, as the nicely painted streets of an idealized Miao environment or the wooden doors opened by the women to unfathomable mysteries...
