I'll be visiting Seoul for about a full month, and looking for social opportunities there. I used to live there (English teaching) but that was years ago and I no longer have any contacts there. Also I speak a little Korean, but I struggle in 'real' conversations. Does anyone have any suggestions for groups or events that would be appropriate?
I'd be interested in meeting with a group that has 'some' English speaking ability, since my Korean is poor. An obvious group might be people learning English, but I'm also interested in professional social media, blogging, music (I'm a trumpet player/teacher) and sports. A formal temporary teaching assignment isn't out of the question, but I'm really looking for social interaction. Any ideas?
