Submission Guidelines and Submission Form
Here is a first pass at the final submission guidelines. How does this sound? Am I missing anything? Any formatting markup you absolutely must have?
I've also done up a submission form at
NovoPulp Manuscript Submission Guidelines
We’ve pondered these long and hard and we have decided that there is no need to reinvent the wheel. Therefore with a strong nod to Analog and Asimov’s, here are our submission guidelines:

Content: We publish Speculative Fiction and articles about science, technology and the arts which might act as a spur to the creation of Speculative Fiction. We are interested in fiction which asks the fundamental questions about our world, the universe, and our place within them and which helps us to explore the possibilities of our futures. We believe that a good story is more important than a genre label, so if you think your story is good and falls under the broad umbrella of SF, please do submit it for consideration.

We pay by the word and every word counts. We also have a strict editorial policy of CUT ALL YOU MUST so padded stories will not remain so after the editorial process. We want tight prose and great stories not 400 words of superfluous description.

Word Count Guide
Short Story : 2,000 - 7,000 words
Novelette: 10,000 - 20,000 words
Serial: 40,000 - 80,000 words
Articles: 2,000 - 4,000 words

Manuscript Guidelines
All submissions will be made through the submission form at

Submissions are in plain text so please keep markup to an absolute minimum. You may use g+ style formatting for text: * bold * _ italic _. Please put a hash # at the end of each paragraph. Use the notes section of the form to convey any pertinent information on formatting, spelling, etc.

Please use your real world information when submitting a piece. This is strictly necessary and no exceptions will be allowed. If you wish to publish under a pseudonym, please include that in the notes section of the form. Your information will only ever be used for official purposes and only when absolutely required. We will not share your information with anyone other than as required by applicable law. Basically this means we will use it to pay you and to report the income for tax purposes if required.
