The weed that ate Pittsburgh sounds like a B-movie from 1957… But no, it’s a real story. The weed is everywhere. Pittsburgh has been infested by Japanese knotweed, a plant that is very …

Looks like I'm getting good at this bread thing. Fresh baked bread every morning will do that.

HTC says they're shipping first come, first served. Judge for yourself.

There is a huge fiasco going on with HTC Vive orders as charges are being declined en-mass. Basically the Vive order triggered everyone's fraud alert (including Chase, Wells Fargo, and Bank of America) and caused auto declines. HTC is supposedly contacting the banks to get this rectified...apparently no one told the banking industry that this was kind of a big deal.

If your card got declined, contact your bank to make sure they won't decline again. HTC customer support stated that they will be attempting the charge again later however it is unclear if it is necessary to call them to trigger this. If you want to play it on the safe side call them at the online order support line (888-216-4736). They are experiencing a huge call volume currently (I waited a total of about 1 hr). On the bright side all the customer support agents are saying that everyone will keep their pre-order place in line. Check out more comments on Reddit (I started a discussion here: https://www.reddit.com//r/Vive/comments/4cqsqr/on_hold_with_htc_because_my_bank_declined_the/?sort=top)
I attempted to use their online chat but they said I needed to call their sales department...currently their wait time is >10min and I've been...

Support science awareness. For those of you who don't know, dihydrogen monoxide, or DHMO, is water. H2O. These sensationalist titles are all true, but extremely misleading and it's the same tactics used on you for many other things in the media.

Critical thinking...use it!

OK AP, maybe I don't understand this election stuff, but tell me, how can you call Maryland for Hilary with 0% reporting?

Wooooooow
With an experiment that’s not going to help alleviate any concerns over 3D printing and piracy, researchers at the University of California Irvine have proven that they can copy a 3D model, with surprising accuracy, by simply recording the sounds that another 3D printer makes while it’s making it.

Great attraction for young kids, especially ones who love the water and miss it during the colder months. Clean, quality rides. Nothing was out of order and everything looked new. The food and drinks were surprisingly good too! I'm planning on going again later this year!

Absolutely terrible. Low quality drinks which were 90% sugar. Bread that tasted like it was stale leftovers from Giant Eagle. A "special" ravioli that was flat, flavorless, and covered in oil. Service that was slower than going and cooking the food myself. The ONLY reason this get's two stars is the vue is spectacular, but frankly you could get a better Italian experience if you boiled a pot of spaghetti and brought it to the Mon Incline.

Burnt popovers, overcooked lobster, and the waiter spilled a full beer on my kids. The lobster stew is divine (hence the 3 stars instead of 1) but they certainly are relying on their name over quality.

This place is like a candy store for electronics geeks. I nearly cried when I first walked in and saw the endless rows of resistors, computer components, video games, and more. This is not a place for people who don't know what they want, but it is great to browse and find that one unique item you can't find anywhere else.
