Low-key Asian outpost offers an array of vegan, vegetarian & gluten-free eats including rice bowls.- Google
"They made the smoky bowl with tofu so well that I just had to keep coming back."
"Also, if you add chicken, you'll pay $2-3 for a small skewer."

I live very close to this location in Beaverton. My first experience with Cafe Yumm was in Eugene, and it was amazing even stopping in both directions thru. They made the smoky bowl with tofu so well that I just had to keep coming back. Then yesterday I went to my local one in Beaverton, thinking it would be just as good or better. While I was ordering I asked for extra cilantro...they charged me for it (who charges for a pinch of leaves?, I thought) oh well, at least I should get a bunch...NO, all I could find through out the bowl was one leaf and a 3 inch twig of stem on my first bite. They barely put any yumm sauce on and it was so dry I have 6 or more bites of dry hard rice at the bottom....couldn't even tell if it was supposed to be smokey. Don't order the tofu! It was like eating cardboard. In Eugene it was flavorful and moist, in Beaverton it was as if it were under a heat lamp all day, hollow inside cause it all dried up and hard to chew cause it was so tough and dry. Very disappointing...will not be returning!

Yum yum. Give me some! I like this place because it has fresh ingredients - tomatoes, cilantro, avocado, and more. Not to mentioned more than half their ingredients are certified organic. Now who wouldn't love that?! I'm not a big fan of beans so I usually get the Yum Baby and sometimes add a side of chicken. Ask for the chicken on the side or they will decrease your normal serving to squeeze the chicken in your bowl. But require you to pay the same + the chicken. So this way, you get what you pay for. :) #GoogleCityExpert #PDXCityExpert

+1 star for having good beer. I ordered the Tempeh Ruben. If the tempeh hadnt have been bland and firmer than it should have been, it probably would have been awesome. But it was just OK. The staff was nice. They have to wear these silly "Asian looking" headbands in what looks like a Panera Bread environment.

The good: -Fresh ingredients -Healthy food -Not the usual lunch -Fast service The bad: -Smaller portions -Can tend to be a bit bland -Slightly overpriced for portion size

Mediocre service. It's starting to go downhill. Last three experiences here have been leaving much to be desired. I'll give them a few more chances to actually put chicken on my Yumm bowl when I pay for it. Hope someone lights a fire under their ass soon.

Take out is ALWAYS a nightmare. Not a place for special diets. This is sad because the food itself, according to the business, is supposed to be especially for people with special dietary needs. But if you don't eat meat, expect to have meat on your food. If you don't want dairy, expect them to add that anyway. Don't make any special requests for anything. They also cannot retain staff. So be aware that your food is being made by someone who was just trained and probably has no previous food service experience. CHECK YOUR FOOD! Every time we order, the food is somehow wrong. Even when they read it back, even if we check it before leaving. You literally have to open up your food ENTIRELY in order to make sure that something you might be allergic to didn't end up in your meal anyway.

It is a vegetarian bowl form of Chipotle with the delicious Yumm Sauce! Brown rice, veggies, salsas. It is a local chain which I am proud to support. However, this is a healthy option for lunch! I usually get a large Smokey and will feel hungry come dinner time, which shows they do good portion sizes as well.
