We now have a library of video content readily available to us. Recently TV watching and discussing TV has become more of a hobby and less entertainment. I mean it's still entertainment, but people consider TV watching a hobby now.

Just like people read a book in a series, they then have to immediately read the whole series. Now that we can watch a show like a book, by watching episode after episode and season after season, binge watching has increased.

This season I've been catching up on shows and re watching some favorites as I "work" from home. That included a Sherlock marathon day. Starting and finishing Mr. Selfridge. And re-enjoying Community. Unfortunately I watch a lot of TV throughout the year so I'm on a continuous binge. I think it's around 40 current and continuing shows each year that I watch.

Strangely I'm in this mood to watch Sci-Fi TV Shows that were canceled after the first season. So aside from Firefly what are some other good Sci-Fi shows that got axed too early.

Selling will call tickets online is a pain. If anybody is interested in buying two Pentatonix tickets for a concert in Charlotte, NC please email me. The concert is February 16th at 8pm. If you've never heard of them here's a video you can watch.

Got some new music to listen to at work today. Go ahead you know you want to listen to it. And if you've never heard of Pentatonix then you really must listen to it.

Alright so the browser has only been out maybe 20 minutes and I've ran it through some tests. I know we say Chrome is fast, but I wanted to compare the new beta versus all the other browsers available for Android. All tests were performed on an Asus Transformer Prime in Performance mode, no other programs were running in the background.

Initial results show that Chrome Beta for Android has a better HTML5 test beating out Apple. And Javascript speeds are faster than stock and not far behind Firefox. Looking forward to this browser to improve.

However please bring the experimental feature from the stock Android browser with the x-menu, I loved that thing.

After a lot of hard work, I'm really excited to see us launch Chrome for Android Beta today. We set out to bring the full capability of desktop Chrome to Android and rethink the browser from the ground up for phones and tablets with a touch interface. It's great to see my open tabs across all my devices, my favorite feature.

Try it out on your ICS phone or tablet and let us know what you think https://market.android.com/details?id=com.android.chrome

An idea for +Google Maps Team and whoever works on Google Now -
Here's what just happened to me. I needed to run and get a few groceries to fix my dinner so I looked up biking directions to a grocery store. I then biked to the grocery store, bought the few things I needed, and then attempted to bike back home. However a severe storm suddenly appeared and I was stranded. The storm was moving fast (70 mph) so there was no way just by looking at the sky to tell that there was a storm coming. I didn't get a notice that there was a storm till after it slowed down and I got home.

So what would really be helpful would be to integrate weather alerts when searching for biking routes. Be that looking for routes on the desktop or looking for routes on mobile.

I don't know how to feel about this new show on BBC America. It goes against all normal Zombie stories. "In the Flesh" follows the lives of those who were cured from being Zombies or Partially Deceased Syndrome being reintegrated into society. If anybody else watches it let me know.

As far as a freshman album goes, KB killed it. Lyrically the album is strong and the production level is on point to. If you've heard of Lecrae listen to this. If you're curious listen to track two for something hard hitting.

Just got a Transformer Prime and I'm loving it. Even just with the few minutes I played with Honeycomb installed I could immediately tell how much faster it was with ICS. One of the biggest complaints I've heard about Android is the stock browser, which is supposed to be a lot better in ICS. I wanted to see some numbers comparing the stock browser to Opera, Firefox, and Dolphin. However, none exist for ICS, so I'm testing myself. Results to follow.

What is everyone's favorite Android browser for tablets?

Devious Scheme

As I was driving home I had a devious scheme. I saw a flock of birds in the grass parking lot and thought that it would be fun to drive through it. So I turned back around and drove through the flock - slowly. Yup it was as exciting as running through a flock of birds, but just in a car. I didn't get a picture since it was spur of the moment, nor could I find one. But I did add it Schemer, so be devious and dive through the next flock of birds you see.

The food description sounded interesting, but the flavor and taste was mediocre. I felt like the food was overpriced for the amount and flavor of food that I received.

The food at the restaurant is very flavorful and the service is relatively fast. Even when hanging out and drinking at the adjacent bar - Mortar & Pestle - they check up on you to see if you want or need anything else. I had the Galub Jamun with some savory crepes/pancakes that were interesting and amazing. I was actually with two co-workers of mine who were born in India and after having that dessert, they said they were transported back to their childhood.

In one word this place feels authentic. Every time I've been here I hear the owners talking to some patrons in Italian. My first time here was just to grab some coffee and it was a solid cup with the right balance of taste. The second time here we grabbed some dessert. We debated over getting their gelato made in-store, but ultimately we were feeling like getting something baked. I ended up getting a pastry with strawberry jam. The jam itself was dense and delicious. Next visit will be to check out their entrees.

The cocktails in their menu are amazing. I haven't been disappointed by one yet. I'm not one to stray away from the menu when it comes to cocktails, but I've seen other people talk to the bartenders to get something off-menu and they seem pretty knowledgeable. They other great thing about this place is that you can also get food from Curry Up Now a great Indian street food restaurant. They even do a joint happy hour together.

I really enjoy the coffee from this local roaster. The first time I came here they had a cold-brew barrel-aged coffee. I was a little hesitant about trying a coffee with such combination of drink fads, but after trying a sample it was delicious. It actually had a slight blueberry taste and I'm terrible at picking nuances in taste. The coffee is always good here and the environment is pretty chill. If I lived closer to this place I would probably do some work there on Fridays.

The mission of the store here is my favorite. They donate all their profits to efforts to help the homeless in Chicago - they donate their "first slice". A good business with good food doing good for the community. The pie is always good especially the seasonal ones. The baked goods like pecan bullseyes and the cookies are pretty solid too. The cafe also serves lunch time food which has some good combinations of ingredients that make everything tasty, especially for the price.
