Too much love?
"The famed Pont des Arts in Paris cannot handle so much amour. The bridge is a special spot for couples to attach 'love locks' and toss the keys into the river Seine as a symbol of devotion and unending romance. But the Pont des Arts had to be evacuated this weekend because part of its railing collapsed under the weight of so much hardware. Around 2.4 meters of railing broke, rendering the bridge unsafe.

Even prior to this damage, some Parisians (who clearly do not realize they live in the most romantic city in the world) have complained that the locks are an eyesore. Mayor Anne Hidalgo organized a petition to have them removed, claiming they are 'like a plague on our city’s historic bridges and sites.' Really, where is the love?"

"Is 'social' as important to [Google] now as it was two years ago?"
"Yes, if anything, probably more important," Google CEO +Larry Page tells +The New York Times' +Farhad Manjoo. "We have a very excited, dedicated community. People forget we’re able to make our services better by understanding your relationships, making sharing work and understanding identity. These are deep and important things for us as a company."

"When people ask about Google+ they think about it as, 'I’m going to the stream,'" Page explains. "For us, Google Play reviews are part of Google+, too. We see all those things growing and being important for us."
