I've cycled over 2k miles this year to date in training for two events. The first takes on part of the Yorkshire leg of the Tour de France just before the professionals. The second is the main event in August, where I'm raising money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity - please show me and them your support by visiting my Just Giving site - I really appreciate your help, it will spur me on;

Maybe, but we're only doing 50 miles and taking in Holme Moss, that's all, but expect that to put in more elevation

So many good causes to raise money for this year's Ride London 100, I'd like to raise for several, but could choose only one and am glad to have settled for Great Ormond Street Hospital

Finished #RideLondon100 for #TeamShelter the #Fujitsu UK&I chosen charity. I surprised myself with an unofficial time of 5hr 30.

I can't recommend Kinetic Cycles enough. They maintain a wide range of products to suite all customers; from families through to professionals. What really marks the shop out from others is level of customer care, which doesn't diminish after a big sale. I'm relatively new to road cycling and as with many specialist shops, there's always a reservation that the staff may talk down to you - but that certainly isn't the case with the owner Jon and his team. They take time to listen and help, no matter what your needs are, providing sound advice. Jon even seems to know everyone by their first name. I recently had to get my bike repaired under warranty and Jon made sure that he fitted in the work around my needs. He did a thoroughly good job and was patient enough to wait a little beyond closing time for me to collect it.
