Decent neighborhood shop. The prices are a bit high, but they do carry more specialty items. For example I can get my Della Fattoria rosemary-meyer lemon loaf for $6.99 (99 cents more than trekking to Ferry Plaza on Saturday mornings), Hodo Soy products, Straus milk in glass bottles, and decent meat and fish. Definitely peruse their weekly circular for specials on meat--love me my Mary's chicken wings on sale! High quality beer, wine, and liquor selection. All in all, a nicer grocery store than Safeway, on par with Andronico's, but ain't no Bi-Rite.

Great place to visit for the butcher could the selection of finer beers- what else do you need? But lots of other good things too.

I love this place. A large collection of grass-fed meat, organic fruits/vegetables, and other healthy food.

I literally picked up 5 of the exact same bags of carrots at this store, one after another, because they decided to spread the products around the vegetables isle. I imagine they don't have enough of a variety. Or they just like wasting people's time. Lousiest selection of pasta around too. I was looking for something organic and they don't have any or sale. At Whole Foods, i know they at least have 4 different kinds, plus with gluten too. I bought baby food for my dog. I usually have no veggies in the house and this is how he gets his veg and he promptly didn't eat it. I bought the organic, most expensive thing too. I looked at the label, it had less sodium. He usually eats the other organic ones I buy from Whole Foods, but oh well, I was there and I had to make do. Whatever, he hated it. I now have all this freakin' baby food I don't know what to do with it. The only extra star is for the hand wipes they make available for the public by the grocery carts. That's a good thing.

Mollie Stone's is a great little local grocery shop. I live in the neighborhood so I drop by here when I need to pick up a few things. It's nice and taken care of instead. It's not massive, but you should be able to handle most of all your grocery shopping needs.

Their wine and meat selection is excellent. It's also the only place I have been able to find Maria's Ice Cream outside of Santa Cruz.
