This is a government run organization. Technically we are paying them with our tax dollars but they sure as heck don't treat you that way. You are a nuisance to them, a bother. They suspend an LLC without notice. All I wanted to do was revive it. I wanted to PAY them. What did they need from me? I have no idea because every time I call, I don't even get put on hold. The automated phone system hangs up on you because there is a high-volume of callers. Put me on hold for 3 hours, I can do that! When you hang up on me time and time again, I don't know what to do. When you DO get a hold of them they tell you how to revive your LLC, so you follow orders like a good little girl and they still suspend it. So you spend a week and a half calling them until you get a human on the phone who tells you something COMPLETELY different you need to do to revive the LLC. "I don't know who you spoke to, but they were wrong. This is what you need to do." So like a scolded dog, with my tail between my legs, I follow orders! Is it revived? Oh no it's not. Why? It's still a mystery! Third time's a charm? (we are in month 4 by the way at this time) Nope. So I somehow get in touch with them by the grace of God and I STILL have more things I need to do to revive the LLC. So I do them. They're done! REINSTATE THE LLC PLEASE! JUST DO IT!!! Nope, it's still suspended. Are they messing with me? Is this a joke? Where's the camera? I speak with my CPA asking him what the heck to do! His response, "The Franchise Tax Board? They're a joke. They are extremely inconsistent. I've been dealing with them for over 30 years and I never know what to expect." My therapy session is over. Thank you Google, for letting me rant.

I always come to Aloha Smog. Nice people, free drinks a comfy waiting area. There are about 6 other smog places I pass just to come here.

I just got off the phone with T M Cobb. The receptionist was pleasant and helpful but she transferred me to a woman who thought, A. I was wasting her time B. I should know the lingo that her company uses daily C. That I was an idiot for not being able to speak her language. I feel that if I'm purchasing a product from someone, the least they could do is treat their customers nicely. She did the whole, "uhhhhh... we carry LOTS of doors here, which one are you taking about?" Thought that was rude. Plus their doors aren't very good quality. One year warranty on all of their products? They don't even have faith in their own products? Kinda scary. The only reason I had to buy from them is because they are the only ones who carry the "timely" door jambs (needed for an elevator door). If you are looking for a good residential door, look elsewhere.

Dr. Williams is the best you can find. I found him through my parents who use him. I brought my husband to Dr. Williams and even he said that Dr. Williams did more examinations and really took the time to help him more than any of the other 3 optometrists he's seen. I personally like him because he cares about his patients and helps me understand how to better take care of my eyes. Diane is also a doll, who helped me find the cutest pair of glasses (and also the most comfortable pair) I've had. Thanks to Dr. Williams and his staff! Two thumbs up!!

I needed a part for my expensive roller shade by Roll Ease. Everyone was nice on the phone and directed me to a website where I could buy the part. This part is super small and plastic. It probably cost Roll Ease one tenth of a cent to make one. The website forces you to order a minimum amount of $10 and then they charge you an arm and a leg for shipping. Disappointed that they couldn't mail one to me for free. Whatever happened to taking care of your customers?

My boss gave me a gift card to Spark. I took my husband to the restaurant on our anniversary for dinner. I had heard that they were sort of a "hip-young" place to eat, so I wasn't all excited until I looked online and read their menu. I knew my husband would love the artery clogging BLT Burger. He did. We started off the meal with their Rosemary Garlic Fries. Holy smokes! Amazing. They actually serve real, fresh sprigs of rosemary that have been fried with the fries. It was awesome. I love that they offer two different sauces to dip (and neither of them were ketchup or fry sauce... thank goodness). For dessert I had the Chocolate Brownie Float. They served it with chocolate milk. It was GREAT! I love that they take a basic, ordinary idea that has been over-used, over-played and they spice it up. If you are on the fence about this place, just order the fries and you'll be a fan. I guess I should mention the service too. Our waitress was Hailee (I only remember that because I have a sister named Hailee), and she was very friendly and quick to respond to our requests. They served the food quickly and she even gave us a complementary Mango Mojito drink because we told her it was our Anniversary (highly recommend, very tasty). I think that it’s thoughtful of the management to be generous to first-timers, it shows us that our business is appreciated, and I’m pleased that good customer service still exists.

Our business has floor to ceiling glass commercial glass facing a busy and dusty street. We often need our glass cleaned and since we have hired John and his guys, they have always been spotless, clean, quiet and quick. In the past we have hired window cleaning companies who have disappointed us. From here on out, Fish is our preferred company. I highly recommend.
