Start planning your viewing for the solar eclipse on Sunday. The link is to an interactive map from NASA that shows the path of the eclipse and viewing times. Much of North America will have a chance to view a partial eclipse, while those in the Southwestern US and California will be able to see a full eclipse.
The times given are UT (Universal Time). UT time translator for Canada:
Atlantic (sorry the sun will have set by the time the eclipse occurs).
EDT - subtract 4 hours from UT (will be close to sunset)
CDT - subtract 5 hours from UT
MDT - subtract 6 hours from UT
PDT - subtract 7 hours from UT
Southern Alberta and BC will have the best viewing in Canada.
This is part of NASA's official eclipse home page. It plots solar eclipse paths on Google maps.
