April 1: Blue Jays 4, Rays 2
Much better… whew! In a season start that was absolutely dismal for the Jays,
things didn’t look good with Tampa’s Cobb on the mound, undefeated at home
since September 2012, against unproven Drew Hutchison, in his debut MLB game since Tommy John surgery.  ...

And so it begins, dismally so.
Blue Jays 2, Tampa 9   Memories of 2013: With the opening bell, RA Dickey and Joses Reyes starts with an ominous harbinger of 2013. First, comments on the broadcast. It was nice to see Buck and Tabby back together. They are not the best broadcast crew in ba...

Very good Chinese food in Niagara Falls. Pick up and delivery is usually on time, food is hot, spices are right, and no MSG is added. I've never been disappointed in their chicken, beef, or pork dishes. Portions are large for the price. My only complaint was kung pao shrimp, which is a miss: too light on the shrimp and too heavy on the vegetables. Make is smaller and add more shrimp. They serve in containers that are easily microwavable the next day, making it easy to reheat for leftovers. Best Chinese in Niagara Falls, but not alot of good competition though.

This is a wonderful, friendly, accepting church where you will feel welcome as soon as you walk through the front doors, no matter where you are on your Christian journey. Church starts with 3-4 hymns or Christian worship songs, followed by church events that vary week-to-week, including Communion, Baptisms, presentations, children's events, dedications and so on. There is usually more music, collection, the Message (sermon), and a couple of songs at the end. The music is excellent and inspiring, well performed by a full band, and is typically tied in with the theme of the service. Pastor John Garner and Pastor Stephen Mason are both wonderful orators. Pastor Stephen is very much like a gentle giant with a great heart, while Pastor John provides excellent direction and ministry to his flock and is a true leader. The church works with the community in important ministries, including Project Share (food and financial help for the poor), and it constantly holds events within the community and abroad. If you are looking for a church to call home, or if you are just visiting the Falls, give it a try. You won't regret it.

Restaurant was closed over Easter Weekend for health violations. According to Niagara Infodine (the Niagara region's restaurant inspectors), they were closed because they: "Operate food premises maintained in manner adversely affecting sanitary conditions. Failure to protect food from adulteration or contamination. Failure to provide adequate facilities for hand washing in the food preparation area." It's very important to keep sanitary conditions in an area where raw food is served. This isn't happening, so you might get sick. Otherwise, I've been there many many times, and have never really gotten sick there. The sushi is just okay.
