I'm a writer, skeptic and part-time physics student. I write haikus about bad science on Twitter and generally try to be rational (but often fail).
I'm starting a blog on critical-thinking-y, skeptic-y stuff, where I'll talk about science, logic and various forms of nonsense, with occasional mockery and the odd pop culture reference thrown in for good measure. It should be fun.
"At the heart of science is an essential tension between two seemingly contradictory attitudes — an openness to new ideas, no matter how bizarre or counterintuitive they may be, and the most ruthless skeptical scrutiny of all ideas, old and new. This is how deep truths are winnowed from deep nonsense." - Carl Sagan
