I was apprehensive to try vegan cupcakes but since the reviews were so positive, I figured I'd give them a try. I had the vanilla with chocolate filling and red velvet. Both were delicious. They don't look moist on the outside but once you touch them, you realize just how soft and moist they are. I was pleasantly surprised. The frosting was also perfect-- and I never say that. It was light and not too sweet or overpowering. It was $2 per mini cupcake, which I thought was pricey, but I'd go back again when I need another sweet fix.

I never write reviews. I figured it wasn't worth it sometimes. But this place proved me wrong and they get 5 stars! Our co-worker eats gluten free for medical reasons and we had forgotten about this important fact. So, for her birthday and last minute we called Bunnie Cakes and they were able to accommodate us with a dozen wonderful, delicious cup cakes. The lady at the phone was so sweet, she heard me out and even suggested for them to make a special cup cake with an M for the first initial of her name made out of fondant. The other ones would have hand made little hearts and cute little decorations. She recommended the assorted kind and I chose the vanilla, chocolate, guava and passion fruit assortment. Little to say, the order was ready on time, the cupcakes were so moist and they melted in our mouths and they were adored by everyone at the office. We got one happy birthday girl thanks to Bunnie Cakes!

LONG STORE SHORT.........I STORMED OUT OF BUNNIE CAKES VOWING TO NEVER SUPPORT THIS COMPANY and its RACIST BEHAVIOR AGAIN!! I have been a fan of Bunnie Cakes ever since I first had them in the Wynwood Art District of Miami in 2012. I was recently in Miami and saw they have a store now. I was so EXCITED that I instantly made a U turn and parked out front. I had my 3 CHILDREN with me and began bragging about the delicious VEGAN treats. As soon as we opened the door my children and I were meet with strange looks. I said hellow and the 3 ladies working in the front looked at each other and said nothing. I said HELLO again trying to ignore the racist shocked expressions. Finally the JEWISH owner came out to join the rest of the blank looks congregating on the other side of the counter. The truley sad part of this store is that my children didn't understand why we didn't get to enjoy the taste cupcakes that dad had bragged about!

Hi Andre. Thank you for your review, my name is Mariana Cortez, I was raised catholic, I am also a Latin with fairly dark color skin. I was not at the store when you came in. My employee who was helping another customer on the phone couldn't help you the moment you came in to the door. I am sorry that you were greeted by the cake decorator and she couldn't help you right away because she was finishing a cake. I apologize that you couldn't be helped right away and that your children had to wait, I know it can be frustrating sometimes to wait to be helped but in any way that was a sign of racist behavior. It really saddens me that the only connotation you have towards me was "the white Jewish owner" ... I am not white, not Jewish, and if I would do you think that will change my behavior towards my customers? I have been in business for more than 5 years and I am proud to say we have all the races and religions come to my store, and I or any of my employees sets any preference for anyone, neither do we see or act in different ways because of your race. Again sorry to make you wait, while we heard very clear how you storm yelling out of our store I want to make very clear to you that while I can't condone how long you waited, I can assure you that we are a small business with a fair customer policy.

I never knew gluten and vegan-free deserts could taste so good! I love Bunnie Cakes! I travel all the way from South Beach to get my desert fix from these guys. Their cupcakes are so delicious, healthy (which is rare right?), creatively designed and cute! The staff is also extremely friendly, nice and helpful. The ambience of the store is very inviting and fun which is great if you decide to hang around and eat your deserts there. Definitely a must-see place if you're visiting or if you love deserts!

The store itself is nice but the cupcakes are over-priced and really really small. The location is terribly inconvenient for parking, especially since you have to park on a busy street so getting the kids out of the car can be kinda dangerous. Your alternative is to park on a side street but then you run into major homeless people. Not sure why a cute store like this located where they are.
