I agree with the previous review. Maybe if you've lived here all your life and don't know anything else you'll think its the greatest. The food was mediocre and the fact that the spaghetti was burned and hard ruined it for me. Not recommended.

SHORT REVIEW: Don't let the other reviews fool you. This place was awful! LONG REVIEW: So, after googling and yelping for food in Statesboro, I came across this highly rated restaurant. Seeing as how there were a decent number of reviewers and that they almost uniformly gave very high praise, I got pumped. To say I was disappointed with my Holiday's experience is at best being polite and, at worst, being too kind. This was our order: Calamari Appetizer ($7): While not inedible, this was the most mediocre calamari I've had in a long, long time. The batter was bland as were the dipping sauces. Also, at the price we paid, I'd expect more than a tiny plate of squid, but that's exactly what we got. Baked Ziti ($14): Seriously, I didn't think this was possible to screw up, but, boy, have I been proven wrong. The noodles were soggy, the meat sauce was weak sauce and there was a small mound of cheese at the center that sat a top the pasta like a cheap (microwaved) toupee. Pathetic. Grilled Chicken Greek Salad ($10): Apparently what makes this salad Greek is the table spoon of (possibly spoiled) feta cheese and the five olives that garnished the plate of iceberg. The dressing may have helped, but I wouldn't know because I ordered it on the side, but it never arrived. Oh and let's not forget the "grilled" chicken that was to accompany my salad. I bet chicken cooked on top of a car engine would taste better than this. It tasted so bad that I didn't know whether or not it was a consolation prize that it looked to be a paltry 3oz. The one saving grace of my entire meal was that I got a pitcher of Yuengling for $7. But, of course, even that experience couldn't go untarnished as the keg ran out in the middle of filling it up. Yep, the dredges of a keg of Yuengling was the highlight of our meal.

Johnny and Nick serve up their mama's awesome Greek and Italian recipes. Great neighborhood restauant feel, incredible food. They need a big screen behind the bar, but I can deal with it.
