Pressing question: Is it proper to call Rupert Murdoch's wife Wendi Deng (as the Guardian does), Wendi Murdoch (as The Wall Street Journal does) or Wendi Deng Murdoch (as The New York Times does)? Please advise.

It's hard to view it as anything but the purchase of "integrity" as a panacea. And if I were one of the people receiving that money, I'd be embarrassed and unwilling to allow my name/brand to be used that way.
