Tickets are now on sale for the SWATS upcoming summer production "Bottom's Up!" which is a comedy written by Alan Flay, only a month to go until showtime!! :-)

Unemployed, William Longbottom has a quiet, quiet life with his wife Mary until it is disrupted by the recently widowed, hypochondriac and interfering mother in-law, Ezme Jones. This is intensified by the unexpected return of their long lost, eldest, surprisingly pregnant daughter, Madeline with her American fiancé Everard Woodcock. The plot combined with many colourful characters and some hilarious twist and turns, builds to a riotous conclusion but will it be all’s well that ends well?

In March The SWATS will be presenting two one act comedies; Many Hands Make Light Work by Steve Davies and Listen by Clive Read.

Set in a lighthouse in the days just prior to its automation, Many Hands Make Light Work takes its humour from the interaction between the three lighthouse keepers. Examining each keeper’s feelings on the pending closure and the ‘bored’ games they have always played to pass the time.

The setting of a wake may seem an unlikely source of humour for Listen! However, with the batty mother of the deceased trying to communicate with her daughter because she wants to understand more about her death, the unlikely rapidly gets accepted.
