I updated my Nexus 4 to 4.3 and it appears to have bricked it. It won't boot past the logo but it won't stay off either. It just keeps rebooting itself over and over until the battery dies. Fucking awesome.
Did you seriously kill your own flagship phone with your own ota update? What a fucking joke. #nexus4   #jellybean43   #googlefail

And now Google tells me that it took them 2 weeks to figure out that they had no #nexus4 s set aside for replacements.

The process for buying a #Nexus4  has been pretty much the worst online shopping experience I've ever had. Cart errors, duplicate entries in my orders list, a backordered email with no indication which order it referred to, Play Store still shows shipping on the 15th... and the (very nice) guy I talked to at +Google had no idea what was going on but said I should know something within the next 3 weeks. well sure.

Pretty crappy way to start off my intended switch to android. I guess I'll decide by Monday whether to cancel the order and stick with our boring ass iPhones.

Sad thing is I have an old Nexus S and wanted to get a new phone before our little one is born (early december) so I can capture memories (and won't be able to have time then anyways lol) Now, considering how back ordered they are, it doesn't seem like I will be able to get one until next year. Oh well. Maybe I'll just have to buy the Optimus G lol

One of the #nexus4  I bought needs to be replaced because the earpiece is defective. No big deal, hardware fails, right? It happens.

Yeah, except Google support are as inept as ever. I was told that the return unit would be coming out of stock set aside for returns in "3-5 days". My receipt said "less than a week". 7 days later I called and got the exact same crap as when I was backordered, and I quote:
"We're like super busy and stuff? And there's no way of knowing when it might ship, you know? But like, you'll get a email when its on the way!"

Almost 2 weeks later now and everyone I've spoken to tells me something different. Basically none of them know ANYTHING. The best part? The last rep I spoke to said that he heard that every time you call and someone escalates the case ...
It gets sent to the bottom of the queue as if it were NEW

I...I can't even... WOT?

Now my RMA is listed as "pre order". I'll never order anything from Google again.
